Anyone who likes the NFC East and likes football knows the Skins are the best team there right now and this is when you want to play your best and the Skins are doing that.Remeber once the playoffs start it's a new season! As for the Giants,to me they look tired, they have gotten old quick and need a rebuild,Ol,LBers,DB's and RB's and a new Dline.Yeah I know there still might be a chance for them but at this point I almost feel it would better for them not to go to the playoffs.Anyway congratulations and beat the Cowboys!
The Giants don't need a rebuild. They just need to figure out their own personality as a team. They need to come to an answer on why they are 6-2 or 5-3 the first half of the season every year, and then collapse in the 2nd half of the season. It seems they do this every year. This is a pattern that this team goes through every single season. The Giants are the most Jeckel and Hyde team in the NFL.

There is no way that this happens, only way we could play Seattle for NFC title it would be in Seattle.

No we can't. If we division we will be #4 seed. If Hawks get WC seed #5 we will play in 1st round. If Hawks win Division they would be #3 seed and therefore game would be in Seattle.

RG3 is more in that Kevin Durant-Michael Jordan type of player, than LeBron.

Re: Redskins 27 Eagles 20 post game thread

One thing that's interesting about this game is that the Redskins intentionally used trips formation more often against the Eagles than they have all year. Was a big part of the gameplan. Set up a lot of counters-reverses-end arounds which were a big staple of the rushing game, as well as the single receiver quick hitters which are a Kyle Shanahan staple.

Any reports on how the knee responded? Swelling?

The Cowboyz are actually on a pretty impressive run (losing to the Saints not withstanding) when you factor injury into the equation. The original LB corp is basically gone (Ware still in but ailing) and the dline is banged up pretty good. I think it's significant because Dallas' offense will put up the points no matter what IMO. Romo and Bryant are into elite territory. Murray is a stud. Witten still balling. We'll need to score 30+ IMO to win this, and we should given the injuries to their defense.

I'd feel more uneasy about this if this was being played in Dallas.

Last game. At Fedex. Win or go home?

I got good vibes.

he's fumble the last 2 games on the goaline. So if stud means staying injured half the year and fumbling on the goaline, he is that.

Witten dropped a ton of passes this year and is not in his prime anymore.

Romo and Dez have been impressive in the run, but this Dallas team doesnt scare me at all. The team as a whole are not impressive and have eeked out victories. Yesterday it caught up with them, and there Defense regardless of the injuries, has overall been underacheiving. Especially in the "much improved" secondary. Nothing about Dallas scares me.

Why does Dwayne Harris scare me some? Or am I thinking of someone else - dynamic and dangerous return man.

He's been looking decent this year, but at the same token, Cincy and Pitt both dropped gifts from him. Romo/Dez scare me but I think it's a case of they will get their 21-24 points. We need to make sure we get ours.

Not only does a win gets us a home playoff game and the division title, but we eliminate the Cowpukes from playoff contention. There is a lot at stake!

Which DB should cover Bryant? And I'd still put a safety over the type basically every play, which we've done with some success already, but do we really trust Williams? Wish we had a better cover safety.

In the first game with Dallas we kicked some ass. That game would have been a blowout had it not been in Dallas.

At Fedex, it will just be a blowout.

The last time we played the Cowboys they were missing their best OL (Smith). This time will be tougher than the T-giving game, i believe they were also missing Hatcher and he's back on D. Should be one hell of a game.

CBS has the #5 Seahawks playing the #4 Redskins if they were to start the playoffs right now. Although tough I like our chances in our home vs at their stadium. Plus they have been trying to incorporate the option read which our defense has been seeing all season from our own oftenest.

Re: Redskins 27 Eagles 20 post game thread

I'll be the first to say I hope the Skins go all the way, but right now our season has to be considered a success. Our record is better, the oftenest is putting almost 30 points up every game, and no the defense is not perfect but since incorporating more of the 4/3 the defense has been holding their own pretty well.

I think I said the team would be 8-8, since I was tired of getting burned for my 9-7 or 10-6 I usually say every year. However at work me and a co-worker broke down the season and I did have us 9-7 or 10-6 and with a ton of luck playiffs. This record is sweet.

When did the Redskins defensive coaches ever play the 4-3? Or maybe you mean the hybrid 4-3 with Jenkins and Cofield as NTs with Jackson and Kerrigan on the ends standing up.

C'mon now. Take off your homer glasses for just a second. Dez Bryant just caught 9 passes for like 250 yards and two td's with a broken finger. Witten just gets open and has over 100 catches. They can move the ball on anyone. Yes their D isn't very good but they will score points, especially on our defense. It will be a close game just like the last one.

Dez Bryant and Jason Witten are good. Romo is also good. But Romo makes mistakes. Bryant and Witten can be contained. It all depends on the coverages. But something tells me that it won't matter if Rob Jackson and Ryan Kerrigan combine for 5 or 6 sacks and/or if D. Hall, Josh Wilson, and Madieu Williams combine for 3 or 4 picks.
