didn't see anyone mention or post this
I would like to see that happen. With the emerging play of Logan Paulsen, we would be doing very well at TE for awhile. |

Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.
Davis may get a multi-year deal, but it's probably going to to be loaded with incentives for performance...and being on the field. Talent-wise, he's worth the paycheck, but he hasn't exactly been reliable. We're not in the position to pay for potential, we need to get our money's worth. Make him earn his pay. I think a motivated (by money) Fred Davis WILL earn his pay and the team will be better for it.

Hopefully Bob doesn't go the Derrick Rose route of knee recover.

Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.
If the article is true about griffins knee, all I have to say is how amazing it is that medicine has improved over the years.
There was a time when an ACL injury took over a year to recover. Now we have guys like AP, Osi, Suggs with his Achilles, Welker all coming back in shortened time or being completely recovered. If RG3 is really on schedule to play week 1, it just amazes me how well medicine has improved. There maybe a time down the road where a guy tears his acl and he's back in a month. |

By 2050, football will be played in bumper cars so no need to worry about injuries. They will time the 40 for each player and set their car to the same speed. I can hear Larry Micheal now... RG3... turning the steering wheel to the outside... driving down the sideline... Electrifying... |

If Belichick gives up on a player, you don't want him.
Brace will not make the final roster. You heard it here first. |

Well that's being generous, I think Pollard is better than Landry in coverage terms. |

Right, cause Belichick has never made a wrong move.
Meriweather sure looked good this year, granted in very limited action. |

Exactly, coincidence; No. Like Marshall Faulk said the other the patriots knew exact plays the rams were running which they had put in and practiced that week of the super bowl, in the super dome. Which is also when the guy who was videotapping was spotted by martz(?) I believe. |

That was a random comment, I feel like the fact they cannot find replacements for Seymour, bruschi, law, mcginniest, mike v, Samuels, and Harrison has more to do with it then spygate. You have those players on one defense... That's a dynasty defense. There have been other coaches who did the same thing (Johnson in the Super Bowl against the bills) and other coaches who said it didn't make the difference between them winning Super Bowls, like cowher. |
Re: Around the NFL Off - Season style.
Can't believe people are bashing this signing...I mean it is not like we signed this guy to a big contract or anything. People just want to b*tch no matter what.
If it makes the cry babies who are complaining feel better, the Iggles also wanted to sign Brace, but he decided to come to Washington. |

Why do it if it makes no difference? And how come we always seem to hear about the winning team doing it but not the losing team? Do you expect Cowher to say it helped him win a SB? Of course he is going to say it made no difference, except when he finds someone taping his practices... |

My bad, I didnt realize Cowher was saying that from the perspective of the team it was happening to. I thought you were saying it was a more wide spread issue other than just the Patriots. I have to admit, im surprised he said it. Im of the belief that if it doesnt help, no one will do it. If people are doing it, they believe it gives them some sort of an advantage, even if only a tiny one. |

Holy crap. This a all-time record? Shortest tenure on a team by a guy claimed off waivers?
The Rams were the only team to put in a waiver claim after the initial release. This is not a good sign for the player that proclaimed he's better than Calvin Johnson. Sources told The Shadow League's Rob Parker that Young might not play again.
