Yup. I am sure that he had to have a gazillion people sign off on that one.

I am aslo sure that the Shanny hate will undoubtedly flow. Most probably think the guy should just go into cold storage until sometime after Sept. 1st.

Also, I'm sure he's lightly going through the motions. Highly doubt he's going full speed. Just wanted to get this in before the inevitable freak-outs.

Griffin read off a script of plays designed by the training staff so he doesn't do too much, too fast. He threw with good zip and accuracy to a group that included tight end Fred Davis, who suffered a torn Achilles tendon last October.

Sounds like its half speed stuff. It was also reported a while back that he was throwing and had been doing some roll out throws in rehab. Sounds like he is continuing with that.

I am sure he's a good leader and says all the right things but all this Tour de Hype he's constantly on and the fact that he doesn't know when to take himself out of games doesn't give me much confidence in his character.

At the end of the day this is one mans opinion and if you think about it you too will find there are certain things you don't like about his character. I certainly didn't appreciated him tweeting SMH or various other stuff he says or does.

Bottom line, if he continues to perform all will be fine, if he does not it will be the football version of Donald Trump and let me tell you, no one really likes Donald Trump. M'kay.

p.s. RG3 is doing a news conformance on ESPN right now talking about "Just so you guys know I will be talking every week so you will get to talk to me more than just today"

The tour de hype is completely media driven and wanting to win a football game is a character flaw?

Comparison to Donald Trump?

Wow. Post of the offseason. Its officially the Twilight Zone

No one said he has to participate in it. He does it out of his own volition and is clearly a willing participant.

I haven't posted much this off-season but I will take the Post of the Off-season Award. Does it come with a prize?

I think the organization promotes its star and I heard on the sports radio that Bruce let the media know RG3 would be speaking for the first time today. First press conference of since the surgery etc.

Saden post more, just dont drop the mic on that one and walk off!

I was a bit shocked that this specific article actually made it to front page of the Drudge Report. For whatever reason, Drudge seems to have an obsession with RG3, Tebow, and Brady.

One thing that concerns me about that picture is the amount of what looks like swelling from the leg to leg. The lower right leg (below the knee cap and before the ankle) looks a lot bulkier than the left leg. I wonder what that might mean - if anything...

Could just be the angle of the pic. If swelling was an issue he wouldn't be out there. He could have a sleeve on under that brace too.

Through all this Griffin love, it shouldn't go unmentioned that Kirk Cousins was straight ballin' at practice today (so I hear). Having him as a strong #2 (perhaps sometimes #1) is going to be huge for this team

Its like those AT&T commercials, "Is it better to have 1 ballers or 2 ballers?"

Its not complicated

Good catch. With all the press today I've been wondering about the question of his knee swelling in the morning. Does this brace go down to his ankle? That could be why one lower leg looks bigger than the other. Let's leave it up to the trainers and doctors...

BU-RG3.com

Just happened to stumble across this. Apparently Baylor has a website specifically for RG3. Has a video about 10 minutes long on his Baylor days playing football. Touches a bit on every year plus his rehab when he messed up his knee the first time. He was somewhat unknown until his senior year with being at Baylor, not exactly a known football school prior to his arrival. So seeing what he did in some of the earlier years was pretty cool to watch. Also some of the things that were said about him by some of his competitors are pretty funny.

P.S. Never paid attention before, but does Tyrann Mathieu look like he had smoked something before the Heisman presentation. Look at the other 4 then look at Mathieu's goofy smile and squinted eyes.

Skinz, just watched the video. Man, he is the same guy he was in college. There are definitely a couple of times he needed to protect himself and didn't even going back to college. That aside his game has transferred completely to the NFL.

He is awesome.

RG2 is reminding me of that annoying little league parent who wants the coach to listen to him more. He needs to zip it.

The media is also overblowing this whole shanahan Griffin fiasco. It's nothing, but the media has to make a story about a high profile athlete.

They sent thank you notes for the wedding gifts (at least one). It looks like his fiancee, Rebecca, wrote the note with RG3 signing it on the top flap. Do egotistical 20 year olds do this kind of thing? They are a classy couple, glad they are apart of the Redskins organization.

So what journalist will be the first one to say that these thank you letters are a clear sign that RG3 and Shanny's relationship is in tatters and cant be repaired? It seems thats where everything is steered lately.

This goes for every athlete/star actor/high politician:

how can anyone live under that microscope. Don't get me wrong, the thank you note was indeed classy, but does it need to be worthy of news.

I can't imagine living a life where the smallest details are put into public light for praise and/or scrutiny. Craziness would most surely ensue.

For that, props to Griffin and his fiancee both for seemingly thriving in that light.
