Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Alshon Jeffery would probably work better than Steve Smith too, Steve Smith hasn't had a good season and Jeffery has been hot the last couple weeks.

On a side note thank goodness I picked up Fred Jackson in the later rounds, I thought he would be an afterthought but he's been one of my consistent guys. |

Brady or Cutler?
Brady or Cutler?
Considering the Giants are garbage this year, I'd expect Cutler to light them up. Brady is a little more of a gamble seeing as the Saints are 5-0 and he stunk last week against the Bengals. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Some dummy just offered to trade me Julio Jones for Ty Hilton.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Well... All my WRs are injured. Randall Cobb (they say is out 6-8 weeks but I'm holding onto him for a more definitive time table later in the week) James Jones and Stevie Johnson.
I still have Eric Decker and Antonio Brown starting but I have no real #2 receiver now and everyone on the FA list is crap. Blah. I might take a risk on dropping Cobb and picking up Keenan Allen (San Diego) because.. I really don't have any other options. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Im grabbing Keenan Allen in multiple leagues. he's a straight up baller
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
I've got 4 teams.. And every now and then I see a head scratcher on the FA list. A few weeks ago I saw RG3 just chillin as a FA. Picked him up.
And like.. Right now I just saw Jay Cutler on waivers. Really? Another one of my leagues I just saw Russel Wilson on waivers. Needless to say, I'm trying to pick them both up. |

I couldn't figure out who dropped him or why he was available either. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Im looking at Foles in a couple leagues. I just gotta feeling, he played pretty damn well this year.
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
I would take foles but I have Romo and Griff

Do it. Somebody snapped up Foles in my league right after Vick went down, and I regret it. I'd be starting him over Brady right now if I had him. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
is this a fair trade?
lesean mccoy for fred jackson + reggie wayne + deangelo williams |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
is this a fair trade?
lesean mccoy for fred jackson + reggie wayne + deangelo williams
It would all depend on what's available with the other two roster spots, who is doing to be dropped to make room for Wayne/Williams or who can you get on FA after trading them. Which side are you? Honestly, I'd rather have the McCoy side IF decent FA options are available. Fred Jackson is sharing time, although should be good this week. DeAngelo Williams isn't worth much any more. |

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
yeah, this is how i would feel too. i'm trying to get shady, i wouldn't do the trade if i had him.
what about if i replaced reggie wayne w desean jackson or wes welker? |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
If you wanted McCoy, it would have to be Wayne, F. Jackson and Welker/Desean. Even then it would depend on my other starters, I would have to be WR starved to give up McCoy. He is, and likely will be, one of the top 5 scorers in FF (if not better) at a position where there aren't many close to him (He is outscoring all but one or two other RB's big time, Welker and Jackson are being outscored by a lot of WR's).

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Yup. Mine too. Just saw that. My bad.
If I had McCoy, I still wouldn't trade McCoy even if you substituted DJ or WW. I guess I value RB's more than WR's. |

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
I was absolutely hammered by the injury bug today; Desean Jackson, Jay Cutler, Arian Foster all starting on one of my teams. All out early with injury.
Foster is also starting on another one of my teams too. Ugh God. What a horrible week. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
i had jackson and cutler as well. -1 for cutler and 2 for jackson...
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Picked up Cutler on the waiver wire last week, benched Brady (admittedly only 7 points today) and started Cutler, he got me -1 points before he got injured. Hopefully as Gronk gets better, so does Brady, because I need him now.
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Why would anyone start Cutler over Brady no matter what the match-up?
Lesson learned. :D Bradford was my backup for RGIII in my money league. Just going to drop him for a positional player since the Skins' bye is past. No need to waste a spot on a second QB from here out with Griffin lighting it up. If I need a replacement, Cousins won't be a bad option. I'm about to win my 5th straight in that league, tied for 1st and rolling over everyone after a bad first couple of weeks. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
RG3 carried me
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
I started Brady and he was terrible. A whole 8 points out of a projected 19. Dude has sucked hardcore the past few week.
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread

I have Brady as well and now that T. Pryor's BYE week is over, I'm starting Pryor from here on out. Even in a losing effort, Pryor will be throwing and running a lot. Brady doesn't throw TDs anymore so he is worthless. I won yesterday in spite of Brady, but I'm done with him. |

did anyone else start jordan reed? he made me proud.

He's been an average ff qb this year, even Terrelle Pryor has outscored him. I was only planning on benching him until him and Gronk got in sync, but now that Cutler's done, probably for a few weeks, I don't have a choice but to stick with him. |

He's sitting on my bench. Vernon Davis had a huge week last week but otherwise has been average, I might consider starting him if he starts getting consistent targets. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
i had jimmy graham was on bye, no way i would have started reed over graham.

Lol I know right! My biggest fear this season was the Vikings' lack of a qb ruining AD's season, and so far it's come true. But eitherway, I was doomed for the week once Cutler went down, so it was easy to see that coming. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
I have Martellus Bennett and Jordan Reed on one team.
I started Bennett because he was facing OUR safeties and it almost bit me, but he scored that TD to salvage the day. He has been consistently good. Benching Reed hurt though...think I'll start him against Denver over Bennett. What's funny, I drafted Fred Davis on that team. Week 2, dropped him for Bennett. I picked up Reed before the Chicago game...time to start him now. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
Ok, so who is going after Jordan Reed as a waiver wire pick-up after the Bears game (raises hand!) I mean I have Garcon on my fantasy team but Reed is doing more than him right now. If Reed keeps geeting 5-10 targets a game, he is Flex worthy!
|
Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread
