Re: Around the NFL: Week 3
Speaking of Around the NFL/FF, I'm about to be "most scored against" in my league. Last year I had the most points scored against me by a large margin. It's starting again! DAMN. Check this out:
Now look at the points each of those players got last week. ARghgghghgghghhh. |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 3
Just need Brandon Marshall to score 7-8 TDs and get like 200 yards receiving and I'm right back in it! :D

I hear you, I'm about to be 0-3 unless Cam Newton scores 45. Already been outscored in my league 240-120 before this week, and I'm down by 45 right now. |

Cam having a subpar game so far. Some of the same issues that RGIII suffers from. Holding the ball too long. Not stepping up into the pocket.

I hate players that celebrate every little thing, so I laughed at this guy. Stephen Tulloch, linebacker for the Lions, injures his knee on a celebration.

ON NFL network they said there are only 3 true good consistent drop back QBs. Every QB does not have to be Brees, Manning, or Brady. Your statement could apply to most QBs in the NFL. |

This guy....
Ray Rice Will Reportedly Claim TMZ Edited Tape ... Dumbest Defense Ever 9/21/2014 8:48 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF Ray Rice will reportedly argue that TMZ Sports edited the "inside the elevator" video ... thereby altering what really happened that night. He's right. We did edit the video ... and we made that point crystal clear in our original post -- the same post where we also INCLUDED the raw unedited version showing Rice KOing Janay Palmer. As we initially reported, the original raw video was jerky -- in that it would move forward and then in reverse every couple of frames ... so we removed the reverse frames. Again, TMZ Sports included the raw video in our original post. Maybe Rice's team should've scrolled down.
On the left is the Raw/Unedited footage. On the right is the 'edited' footage. [YT]qkAiDoIc1I4[/YT][YT]VbwTMJroTbI[/YT] This is basically the same as arguing that enhanced images shouldn't be admissible in court. |

Kind of upset that Dallas is 2-0 on the road while we are 0-2. Road games are tough to make up in the win column.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 3
So the Ravens are basically saying that ESPN lied on their Outside the Lines report about them covering up the whole Rice situation.
At this point, either Rice is a master liar that convinced the NFL and the Ravens about the altercation or the Ravens are just denying stuff. |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 3
Yeah, well, don't the ravens change the topic.
They had a video of Rice carrying his unconcious fiance out of an elevator after admitting to hitting her. The NFL opted for a 2 game suspension, the Ravens did nothing to punish Rice. Then the Ravens went on the 'Janay is sorry for her role in this!' bullshit parade. Nothing more is needed. Everything else is noise. If that first video wasn't enough to make you realize 2 games was not enough then you're... well, you figure it out. |

What the hell is wrong with this country when cops and businesses alike are cutting slack because of how important someone is. |

I'm talking about the original video that came out shortly after the incident before rice was suspended initially. Everyone had that video. |

Yes sir they are. Im not much of a Cutler fan every time I watch him play all i can see is Jeff George. But the dude has an absolute cannon for an arm. |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 3
These refs are horrible. Fumble by Cutler should have been a TD, but dumbasses blew the whistle way too early.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 3
The officiating is the worst its been in a very very long time. Damn shame the fans and media focus seems to be the ray rice/ap story.
Inconsistent calls, wrong calls, bullshit helmet to helmet/defenseless receiver calls, too many flags, bullshit pass interference calls, etc. its a horrible product goodell has put on the field. garbage |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 3
I agree. Although complaining about officials is as old as football itself, the refs seem especially bad this year. They keep botching basic stuff.

As much as i hate the 49ers and love to watch them lose, they have some grips over a couple of those calls this past weekend. Directly lead to their loss. I like Trico and Gruden last night flat out calling out the refs saying they missed on a flags. The announcers should call out the refs and league when its this bad. The Jets got screwed on some bad calls last night in the first half. Pass interference, holding call in the red zone and the call at the end of the half denying the touchdown. I hate the Jets, but hate watching crap football where the refs are too much part of determining the outcome of the game. its gone too far. |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 3
horrible product and goodell should resign because that over the handling of any ray rice thing
|
