So who do we go for at 25????

JWsleep 04-23-2005 02:25 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

Gibbs looked pretty tense. I wonder what's gonna happen now. WR! No QB!

Glad WIlliams aint in Dallass. WHo's the TUna gonna tap? Poor sucker has to wear that blue...

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

I hope Merriman isn't the next Randy White....great MD player drafted by Dallas I mean....

RedskinPete 04-23-2005 02:26 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**
i totally agree
I just wished we could have kept Smoot and then we would have been able to take Williams!!!!

redwagonskins 04-23-2005 02:26 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

Merriman is undersized as a DE so he may be a LB. I'm pretty sure Jansen can handle him.

x44x 04-23-2005 02:27 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

I say we go for Matt Jones at #25. Bad pick?

redwagonskins 04-23-2005 02:28 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

Heath Miller may still be around.

Cush 04-23-2005 02:29 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

Cowgirls take Demarcus Ware. DE Troy

That Guy 04-23-2005 02:29 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

i'm really kinda mad... williams was available and we passed on him for a guy that wouldn't have gone before 13-15 :(

redwagonskins 04-23-2005 02:29 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

fine with me. he is a project as far as i'm concerned

RedskinPete 04-23-2005 02:30 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

I hate Dallas!!! Can we just beat these guys two times a year!!!!

That Guy 04-23-2005 02:30 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

big thing is #30 on offense and we draft D when we could have waited a year... maybe we take matt jones at 25 now and make him a TE?

RedskinPete 04-23-2005 02:31 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

Ware before Macus Spears wow????

JWsleep 04-23-2005 02:32 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

Ware for Dallass. They needed that. Hope he'll be a bust! Poor fella, gotta play in God's toilet for the roids...

JWsleep 04-23-2005 02:33 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

As for drafting on D, I think we needed to fill that need more, and we were less likely to get quality at 25. WIlliams is awesome, but Rodgers and the best WR at 25 is better than Williams and the best CB at 25. Or so I hope! Anyway, glad he aint in Dallass.

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

How would you like to go to work each day and see the Tuna in your face??? After coming out of college from small school Troy st.

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

Is Aaron Rogers going to be a good NFL QB....better then Ramsey???

Cush 04-23-2005 02:42 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

San Diego takes: Shawn Merriman, LB, Maryland

JWsleep 04-23-2005 02:44 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

Solid pick. He'll fit in well at SD. No surprise. We'll see him this season...

redwagonskins 04-23-2005 02:49 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

Merriman is perfect for SD.

Cush 04-23-2005 02:49 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

looks like Houston & NO made a trade

redwagonskins 04-23-2005 02:50 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

We wouldn't have the 2nd rated D again this year without some DB help. I guess this shows what Greg Williams thought about Wilds as the #2.

Cush 04-23-2005 02:51 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

NO gets the 13th pick

Houston gets: 16th and a 3rd rounder in '06

Cush 04-23-2005 02:56 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

NO takes Jamal BRown OT, Oklahoma

Cush 04-23-2005 03:05 PM

Re: **Official Draft Day Thread**

I still can't believe we passed on Mike Williams... How many times did we get inside the 30 last year and come away with 3pts or less. Cooley can't be the only guy capable of getting open in the endzone. Oh well... Rogers is a great CB and we did need one.

I'm impressed that we showed discipline and went with the bigger need and not the flashier pick. I think we may address WR at #25...

Cincy takes: David Pollack, DE, Georgia

Cush 04-23-2005 03:55 PM

Will Dallas now take CLayton?

we're #30 in offense and have two starting CBs and CB is the bigger need??

I thin at 25 we're just going to get another average receiver to put with the 5 we already have...
