Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
Skins are the joke of the nfc, we have the least amount of wins over the last 2 years. I really don't know y I'm a fan of this team anymore, every yr it's the same thing. It's getting harder and harder to root for them

I dont root anymore...i watch it for the train wreck every week. |
Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
All the negative, but one cannot forget the rams are a great defensive team, beat Denver, almost beat Dallas and Seattle... They have played well, mostly on defense but... They are by far the better team right now, this isn't surprising me one bit. We do suck... But they are also just that good a defense.

Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
seems haslet has no desire to call any blitzes whatsoever today even in 3rd in long.....he's content to have hill have all day to find a wide open receiver....he should have been fired weeks ago........a shutout at home ...pathetic...
Where can you find our stats for third and over 10? We have to be the worst team in the league by a large margin on giving that one up.
As of 5 days ago... The Redskins have been in this situation 48 times, which is 12th in the league. But they’ve been in this spot 31.8 percent of the time, which is ninth. The Redskins have converted just four of those instances into first downs (last in the NFL). The average number of first downs picked up is 12. The bad numbers don’t end there: They’ve been sacked seven times in these situations -- second most in the NFL -- and average an NFL-worst 3.71 yards per pass attempt. By comparison, last season they had 64 third-and-10-plus situations -- but they converted 25 percent into first downs, a far greater percentage than this season. Also, they were in this situation only 27.2 percent of the time. |
Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
I love losing to the rams every year.

Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
Thanks Rave! Sorry, I meant defensively. Where did you find that btw?

Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
Look at the stands, there will be lots of free tickets next week and the rest of the season. We hit a new rock bottom and new season.

Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
Gruden needs to go. He knew exactly what he was getting into when he took this job.
|
Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
Getting embarrassed in every single way you can be embarrassed... Once again...
It literally makes me want to break something when I at h this team... And this is with already knowing going into a game it's going to be bad... So sickening... So sickening |
Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
Down 17-0 and it should be 27-0 lmao good Lord we suck ass. Can we just beat dallas one more time? I doubt it they will probably lose 42- 0
|
Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
No the stands will be full of the other teams Fans
|
Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
Speaking as objectively as possible, Haslett's scheme is 100% to blame for us getting owned by TEs. Since he's gotten here, TEs have career games against us. We get WORKED by them.

Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
4-48 lmfao.

Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
Great idea, don't throw to the hot read.

Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
Time for another beer.

Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
Robert can't do anything. He gets sacked like every other down.

For offense Highlighting Washington Redskins' third-down struggles - ESPN For defense There are many reasons why the defensive results seem to be worse than the yardage numbers would indicate but opponents are doing a lot of damage passing on third down. Opposing quarterbacks have completed 72 percent of their third-down passes (59 for 82) against Washington for an average of 8.5 yards per attempt and a passer rating of 110. The NFL average is 60 percent completions on third down with an average of 7.7 yards per attempt and a passer rating of 92.3. Third down pass defense a problem for the Redskins | Comcast SportsNet Washington That was a month ago. I can't find anything specifically for over 10 yards |
Re: Redskins vs Rams Gameday Thread
The problem is the west coast offense. Can it.

Congrats on making my muted list. You never say anything useful or interesting, just the same RG3 is great shit. RG3 would not have done anything in this game. He is a bust, he will always be a bust. So sorry you spent money on his jersey, but thems the breaks. |
