in college he would get free release...he's not getting that here. |
I don't believe for a second that Reed will remain healthy long enough to have a good year.
The problem I have with Doctson is that he played like a p***y last season. He could not get off jams at the LOS and he was pushed around by smaller DB's all year long. Unless he has grown a pair during the offseason, he won't do much. So, I'm very skeptical about what we'll get from those two this season.
Doc doesn't seem to have a lot of dog in him. |
Re: Training Camp 2018
Per J Keim:
Quinton Dunbar has had a terrific camp. Just picked off a pass in the end zone. Good coverage on a fade to the corner for Davis. Maybe didn't get both feet in. Still a very good play. Maybe Dunny can replace Fuller/Bree |

Lets see what happens on 3rd downs and in the RZ, that is all I care about. FG's killed us, we need 6 down there. |

Verified account @MrChickSports 4m4 minutes ago More Josh Doctson appears to have injured his left shoulder. Josh Norman landed on him. He laid on turf and now headed to training room. Yeeesh #redskins smh - an hour before that he made an awesome catch and chick tweeted " this is why they got him , now lets see if he can do it for 16 games" media coincidence strikes again -- hopefully its nothing serious |

Im really all about that Running the Ball with Guice Life when in the Red Zone. Too me I think we have been too one dimensional when we entered the red zone...need that running threat. Sometime I even remember we would drive the ball down predominantly running and I think we grew a vag/balls shrank/butt hole puckered ...whether it was Jay/Cousins(he would check out of runs)/O cord...all stopped running. Which led to me throwing shit around the house/breaking shit/spilling beer/declaring folks pussies/etc.....Im not about that life anymore. |

hopefully it's just a bruise but man that dude is glass man 2.0 (Reed is 1)
|
Re: Training Camp 2018
I remember McCloughan being all about Football guys. If Doctson can't get past these injuries, his 2nd draft will be pretty weak.
questionable 1 (22): Josh Doctson, WR, TCU - 37 career receptions for 568 yards and six touchdowns questionable 2 (53): Su'a Cravens, DB, USC - 34 career tackles, one sack and one interception; contemplated retirement but he's active again solid 3 (84): Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech - 97 career tackles, 12 pass deflections and four interceptions; traded to Kansas City as part of Alex Smith deal solid 5 (152): Matthew Ioannidis, DT, Temple - 35 career tackles, 4.5 sacks not Tom Brady 6 (187): Nate Sudfeld, QB, Indiana - Now with Eagles, completed 19-of-23 passes for 134 yards not a diamond in the rough (232): Steven Daniels, LB, Boston College - No carer stats, now with Giants meh (242): Keith Marshall, RB, Georgia - No career stats, still on the team (Yes tom brady is the standard for all 6th round qb picks) |
Re: Training Camp 2018
Keith Marshall was waived with Injury Settlement last week...but still to your point, "football players"
|
Re: Training Camp 2018
Really not worried if Doc is seriously hurt. I think Mo Harris is just as good or better. But he's not getting the chance cause of draft position.

I didn't cite my source for that list, but it was actually a browns fan rag that was looking at McCloughan's drafts when he signed on as a consultant for them, so it was outdated on that fact, thanks |

yea i kinda felt like, when kirk threw it up for him, he got it more than not if the throw was at least decent, i also felt like the line hurt this last year, not just kirtk - but that he could have taken more chances as well. So many variables lol. |
Re: Training Camp 2018
I just need doctson to stay in the field and not run off it every time he tackled like Debo took his chain.
|
Re: Training Camp 2018
Doctson has to play 16 games a year for next 10 seasons to not be considered injury prone. Sarc.
Its football man, shit is going to happen, falling and landing badly on your shoulder is not chipping a nail. He says he's good. |

I'm really interested to see how the WR and RB position shakes out. Will only be disappointed if we don't have a FB who we actually use. Even if Kelly or Samaje is the FB. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |
