I've watched this guy for the last 4 years and he is awesome, people can bitch all they want about the pick, wait till you see him on the field and then eat crow.
Not sure why anyone who has seen Love play would ever bitch about him. |
Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
What is there not to like about what we're doing? Love was the best back in the country in 2017. High character complete type of back. Just hope he doesn't keep getting the injury bug. Then two o-linemen. This draft on paper has been just about perfect.
I do love his character. Him and McLaurin will be great for the lockerroom. Our offense will be drastically better next year. |
Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
People complain about Martin then love the Alabama guy. Martin looks like a beast compared to the Bama guy. Martin is gonna be our starting left guard this year. Watch.
I love the Martin pick, he's going to maul people, he's been compared to Scherff. |
The Cardinals are having themselves a nice draft.

Agree. You just have to hope he's sound physically. Without the injury he's a first rounder for sure. Huge caveat though, I understand. |

need another tackle, unless you are counting on Christian |

You better count on a 3rd rounder, I’m sure he’ll be better on his 2nd year. |

A linebacker out of unc. Ran a 4.48 though...

and 328 career tackles, including 22 in a game vs Ga. Tech https://goheels.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=14307 |
Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
If he’s a good special teamer I’m good with it. Would really like another shot at a receiver though

Great pick. Glad we doubled up inside today. |

With this logic. If we get 3 Olineman today I’ll be thrill |

Definitely. he’s my all time favorite...he looks exhausted and I hate seeing him like that. |

Maybe - but the rest of their picks are very solid. Who knows how Murray will do? But they have a number of guys it seems few had doubts about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
Emanuel Hall, Anthony Johnson, Kelvin Harmon, Davis Sills, or Penny Hart please.
|
Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
Maybe Tyree Jackson or Brett Rypien for the practice squad?
|
Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
there are still a few FSs and TEs out there

I think they're happy between Nicholson and Apke. I really hope they take a TE though. Isaac Nauta, Alize Mack, or Dax Raymond perhaps? |

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
“173. Washington Redskins: Cole Holcomb, Linebacker, North Carolina
Strengths: Range, zone coverage Weaknesses: Block-shedding, explosiveness Holcomb was a tackle muffin for the Tar Heels, recording over 100 in both 2016 and 2018 (and 93 in 2017). He blew up at his pro day, running a 4.48-second 40 with other exciting results. He’s rangy, active and alert, but he lacks pop when attacking the line of scrimmage. I like Holcomb: He looks comfortable playing in space and pursuing, and linebackers who can play in space and pursue stick around for years in the NFL. This is a great selection for the end of the fifth round. Grade: A” |
Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
Overall, I think we’ve had a solid draft.
Tackle, Safety, TE..maybe another WR. Still would like to grab those |
Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
Yay wr Harmon!

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
Steal fucking stealing up in the draft

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
Kelvin Harmon -WR NC state

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
Heavy offensive draft! Love double dipping in 2 major gaps wr and guard!

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
That’s a steal of a pick. We got a speedster receiver and someone with size who should’ve went a couple rounds earlier. Good draft. If Love returns to old form, GREAT draft.

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
I love the Harmon pick. I also love the comparison to Sanu.

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
If it wasn’t for him not being a underwear performer at the combine he would have been a day two pick. I’ll take that at 6. He can compete for playing time immediately and we needed a tough possession jump ball guy. Since doctson is soft.

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
We got Harmon?!?!?!?! Oh hail fucking yes. Awesome!!!!!

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
I like it, I love it, I want some more of it.

Re: NFL Draft Rounds 4-7
Will be interesting to see how the competition unfolds at WR this summer. Lots of players - who will emerge? I am concerned about the tackle spot. Unless Christian really develops, we are one injury to silverback away from being in a world of hurt. Losing Nsecke really hurt.

Pardon my French (got it?) if I don't use the appropriate technical words, but one thing I noticed is in the running game he switches from one guy to another with great timing and in the passing game he passes up stunts perfectly... something our line struggled to do last year. Harmon is a dog. I would have been happy for him in the 2nd. This is just an absolute fucking steal. This is like Montez Sweat level fired up based on pick vs. talent.
