Nope Pelosi and Biden confirmed it today. Still buying Ukraine blood money oil from Russia and still restricting permits, leases, keystone and stands by fracking ban here at home keeping prices high in the market so Putin can get top dollar to fund his war. Edit…actually Pelosi said today she would be for a oil ban. Good to hear! Gotta get Comrade Biden on board! |

Double standards are no good. In addition, clearly, you don't make it anywhere near that far without being smart as shit. So you can disagree with the nomination, but not attack the person. And I'm not big on coincidences, so her being a black american woman isn't one. Nah, I don't watch him anymore. I have probably seen 1 episode in the last year or so (maybe longer). Yeah too nice, cus if I was gonna say something I would say something like…. This board would be cooler without Tucker Carlson Jr on it. Supporting a bunch of racist fucks and hiding behind the American flag as if it comes from a place of passion for democracy. Throwing around tranny and retard as if being some crass white nationalist troll is something to be proud of. If, of course, I was gonna say something that’s probably what I would say. |

When you only ask for resident ID card of one at the community pool and not all ... When you "I only stopped you because I want to make sure this car isnt stolen" and not all ... Editor at Law Review at Harvard? Are you fucking serious? Law Review is the cream de la creme in law school. You are the smartest and most ambitious of a very smart and ambitious group. Do it at Harvard? When a talking head like Carlson says something overtly racist ... yeah he gets called out on it. The "youre racist" thing is used to often but not here. Black tax on POC in high professions - its real and this is a prime example. |

The Renate Alumni Club? Her praising the talents and giftedness of her birth children but then talking about how lucky her adopted children were to be adopted by her. I do think the Kavenaugh hearings went to far, but I am cool with Coney-Barrett being called out and having her recognize her white privilege lens. Carlson mocking the difficulty of pronouncing her name and then saying we were headed towards becoming Rwanda was clearly a reference to her blackness. He wants to criticize her for her words or actions have at it IMO. |

New day and Comrade Tucker has something dumb to say, what a surprise, how does this guy have an audience? Are there really that many mouth breathing morons out there? It's truly amazing.

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
If he was on the Fox or CBS pregame show and mocked a new draftee for the difficulty in pronouncing their name and said the players presence was turning the team into a third world country he would be out of a job.

Neither of these were appropriate or proved a damn thing about their character period. So now too attack Brett Kavanaugh when he was a teenager is fine and not a political hit? Wow. Ok, that’s in bounds now? So we going into grade school to shame behavior Completely bad faith attacks on ACB with insinuating she is racist…liberals were having colonizer COS play fantasy field day when they found out she adopted children of a different color. It was borderline sick and only perpetuated out of anger. Tuck says LSAT and it’s racist. Bullshit…and a dumb statement but not racist. This is another, “any criticism will be branded racist”…like I said, we alllll understand. |

Ill no longer feed the Trump troll with the Tucker Carlson mouthpiece. People who defend these racist mf’ers do it because they believe in the same things. Hope the rest of you stop feeding him. Let him post his stuff and ignore it. You can have rational political conversation with SD, Nonn, and others. There is as much a need for Trumpism in here as there is anywhere else in the world.

Fox News actually did cover the most recent jobs report for February: https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/jobs-report-what-to-watch Still got 10.9 million jobs available. People need to get off their asses: The labor participation rate stood at 62.3% inline with the prior month as Americans return to the workforce after a mass exodus brought on by the coronavirus but have yet to reach prepandemic levels. Open jobs in the U.S. sat at a near-record 10.9 million in January |

Probably some legit reasons why people aren't going back to work, but I know it's more fun to just assume they are lazy bastards.
It's going to take some time. Covid is just loosening it's grip, and a lot of people took advantage of early retirement. |

What I am glad to see (just me personally). Jobs that had been taken by adults that were meant as part time for kids are being filled by kids again. Part time jobs and after school jobs like fast food places or certain jobs in the grocery store's, movie theaters ,it's just nice to see young kids /people out there working. Grandson just had his first match on his High school golf team in NC and the manager of the C.C course asked him and a few of his team mates if they want to caddy,I told him to jump on it. |

Interesting article on the labor participation rate. The peak was 67.3% in 2000. I assumed this number would be higher. We're at 62.3% as of the February report. Doesn't sound like much difference, but with how many people we have, that's quite a jump we still need to make. This is not about Biden, as it has not got back to that rate under anyone since 2000. But that would certainly be the goal imo. New Startups Break Record in 2021: Unpacking the Numbers Jan 19, 2022 By Daniel Newman and Kenan Fikri Key Findings: Nearly 5.4 million applications were filed to form new businesses in 2021 — the most of any year on record, based on the latest data from Census Bureau’s Business Formation Statistics. The exceptional pace means there were roughly 1.9 million more business applications in 2021 — a 53 percent increase from 2019 and a notable improvement on that especially strong year for economic performance. Nearly one-third, or 1.8 million applications, were for likely employer businesses — a subset of total applications capturing those most likely to hire employees if and when a business becomes operational. Likely employer business applications are up 37 percent over 2019 levels and up 17 percent relative to 2006, the prior peak. Seven of the top 10 highest monthly totals for likely employer filings came last year. Applications for businesses likely to hire employees rose in every state in 2021, but faster in some parts of the country than others, especially in the Southeast. |

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
Historically, the United States economy has performed better on average under the administration of Democratic presidents than Republican presidents since World War II. The reasons for this are debated, and the observation applies to economic variables including job creation, GDP growth, and stock market returns. The unemployment rate has fallen on average under Democratic presidents, while it has risen on average under Republican presidents. Budget deficits relative to the size of the economy were lower on average for Democratic presidents.[1][2] Ten of the 11 U.S. recessions between 1953 and 2020 began under Republican presidents.[3]
But please go on about how Republicans keep the economy churning. |
