Prediction number two. Heineken turns the ball over and they score again before they get the ball back in the second half and score again. Its almost like the more time this coaching staff has to prepare the worse. This is absolutely inexcusable but in no way a surprise.

I agree. They need to run some designs with him running the ball. Thats where dude is a legit threat. Underneath stuff, to open passing while pounding with b rob, and some heineke runs. The Samuel trick plays were shut down early instead of the normal 10 yd gains. Now they've gotten away from the run....and the penalties started mounting. But they def need to get heinekes legs going instead of trying to have him be a legit pocket qb.
We still have yet to see his patented int toss.

I can imagine how Shanahan would use Heinicke. He'd get the most outta him.

Not to mention, our o-line is weak! Why leave him routinely standing in the pocket?! I also don't believe things processes quickly for Heinicke. Poor coaching.

It’s cracked up to be anyway. We need to completely rebuild our oline, and find a quarterback. I also expect Howell to be active and playing after we lose again to SF.

It's the only style we can effectively play, but it feels like he gets bored of it and there's a voice in his head that goes "but I have all those fancy plays and this exciting receiving corps to use".

I say get back to the running game in the 2nd half, it's only an 11 points game.

Trying to reach deep down inside and imagine a way out of this but Taylor is just awful. He has been along for the ride. Teams have completely figured out they don’t need to worry about us passing. Giants definitely have.

This makes sense.....so I'm sure we won't. I do like the trick plays with Samuel, as it's a weapon in the aresenal....but when 2 of them didn't work, it's like he abandoned the entire plan the first half that was working.
