They've decided impact players aren't as important as good players. In other words. They'd rather have 2 Bs instead of an A and a C

Hmmm I think whoever is making trades for the Panthers this year is a better negotiator than who we have. They got pick #52, 155 and a 2d next year for pick 39.

If I were them at this point, I'd trade both 2s for 4 3s and just load of on B players and hope the volume play works out

Hate the trade.

I sound like a broke record but one year we swapped 2nds with Dallas. They moved up to get Demarcus Lawrence. We got Trent Murphy.
We need DBs and Otackles. Hate day 2 so far.

Depends on how they value the talent. If they believe those guys still in the 2nd round would normally be 3rd or 4th rounders in a better talent pool draft, then that's definitely what they should do.

Do what? The panthers only moved up one spot from 33 to 32.



Full terms of the trade:

Buffalo receives No. 33 overall (R2) and No. 141 overall (R5)
Carolina receives No. 32 overall (R1) and No. 200 overall (R6)


I wouldn't call that better negotiation.

I'm talking about the trade they made with the Rams just before our 40th pick.

Rams trade w/Panthers for 39th pick
Rams receive: 39th overall pick
Panthers receive: 52nd, 155th and 2025 second-round pick
L.A. uses the 39th pick to get their coveted pass rusher: Braden Fiske, who had five sacks during his final three games with the Seminoles.

This I don't get, if they wanted a corner why not stick at 40 and take DeJean? Not sure that trade is going to show value as much as the Eagles get out of it.

Obviously no one on this staff reviewed film against Philly last year abusing our small corners. I'm sure the guy may be good, but damn, we needed size bad to fix a major gap, this just says we are ok with not defending high pointing td fades

A backup DT, and Forbes 2.0 is not what I was hoping for in the 2nd round. Ouch. We traded an A player in Dejean to the Eagles and got two B players. Man. See what happens the rest of the night but so far it smells disgustingly familiar to the past.

I like Sinnott. Big safety valve that can block. Good pick. Now get a T and a G in the third or trade up for the T. Maybe then I won’t feel like we drafted Mathis and Forbes twice.

My point is we need corners if u look out depth sucks and we need someone to start. AND that is where the talent was at this point, not a TE we could have gotten in the 3rd. Why trade down to get a 3rd to change to a 2nd only to use it on someone you would have gotten in the 3rd anyways. Let's be real, I am not seeing any major improvement in quality drafting here base on the public boards
