Do you have around $10 Billion lying around? Then you can be the proud owner of the SuperBowl 60 Champs- Seattle Seahawks. As expected, the Allen Trust put the Seahawks up for sale. I think $10 Billion is realistic, especially for team that just won the Superbowl.

Does Bezos plunk down $10 Billion? This team is a far better buy than we were in 23.

Had Brady gone to Oakland instead of a stacked TB team, his record wouldn't have fared any better TBH. That TB team was a SB contender before he landed, they simply just needed a QB that didn't throw 30 fucking INTs (Jameis Winston).

The Falcons jumping ahead of us last year may have saved the Redskins a lot of heart ache. They jumped ahead thinking the Skins were going to take Pearce (probably correct). He went on to have a great year and now it is likely he will never play again due to what he did over this week - chasing down his former girlfriend and ramming her car(He's lucky the cops didn't shoot him given he apparently hit a cop with his car when they were attempting to arrest him).

Be interesting to see how they figure this with a proposed 18 game season. Adding this in with the suggestion of only 2 PS games, but an additional bye week, could still see the season extend another week.

Browns proposing allowing trades with picks up to 5 years ahead. This feels a bit like heading towards madness. How long before a team gives up their whole future draft potential to just win now. Little surprise the Rams are in support. I'd definitely be a buyer in that scenario ("sure we'll have those picks, at the rate you're going, that's a whole slew of #1 picks you're giving up"), but I would be very reticent to gamble away so much draft capital, and then be unable to plan a recovery. GM's living by the sword...

Yeah, I don't agree with this idea. A single mistake of trading away that much could cripple a team for years to come, which could make the division less fun.

Trent Williams just signed a 2 year extension. Remarkable that he’s played at such a high level for so long. Man, how nice would it have been to have him in DC his whole career. Just awful how things ended here.

BTW, Aaron Rodgers is the biggest diva in the league. He's not gotten around to deciding whether to play next season or not, and it is being reported that he's leaving the Steelers wondering whether they'll have a starting QB up to and through the draft. That he hasn't decided by now -- 2 days before the draft -- only serves to underscore what a selfish a-hole he is. I hope the Steelers move on from him -- "Hey, sorry Aaron, but we didn't hear from you, so.... Enjoy retirement."

The Bengals completely screwed over the other 3 NFCE teams. Absolutely atrocious decision by Cincinnati. Giants fleeced them. Chance for the Giants to add two blue-chip caliber players in the 1st 10 picks. I hope the Bengals suck this year.

WOW! Rams traded Jared Verse to Browns for Myles Garrett and draft picks.

This is definitely an interesting trade for Rams. Giving up a young rising star for a proven HOF player who only has a few years left, 1st round pick that can be easily top 10 picks, 2nd round pick, and 3rd round pick. I think Rams won the trade, assuming they draft right players with those picks. If they whiffed on all of those picks then Browns won the trade.

Rams all in on a Superbowl in their home stadium in February. And this move definitely helps. They're loaded. Good deal for CLE too -- another young foundational piece for their D and 11 draft picks next year, and 2 in round 1.

Cannot disagree with that, although I think the Pats might have overpaid a little and I hate seeing Philly getting anything that seems like a deal. He wanted out pretty badly, after all, and he turns 29 this month.

Just think Brown is a bigtime receiver who you should not trade but as you said he wanted out and situation in Philly may have gotten untenable. It will be interesting to see how fares with Maye v. Hurts.

Agreed all around. I hope Lemon is a lemon. Hurts really banked on Brown muscling his way open and bringing in contested catches. Without that, I hope their offense takes a real hit. Four OCs in as many years too - a bit of an indictment of Siriani, I’d say.

It’s amazing how intensely I dislike all the teams in our division.

The Seahawks have found a buyer.

The estate of the late Paul Allen announced on Saturday that a group led by Vinod Khosla has agreed to purchase the team. Khosla’s bid was identified as one of two frontrunners to purchase the team this week. Khosla, who is a venture capitalist, is currently a 49ers limited partner and will be required to sell his stake in the Seahawks’ NFC West rivals.

ESPN reports that the price is $9.612 billion, which is a record price for an NFL franchise.

“We are honored to be entrusted as the next stewards of the Seattle Seahawks. We look forward to building on the winning legacy Paul Allen created and to earning the trust of the Seahawks organization and fans everywhere,” Khosla said in a statement.

The rest of the league’s owners will need to approve the sale before it becomes official. A memo to teams from the NFL said that the league has “commenced both review of key transaction documents and customary due diligence” to set up a vote on the transaction.

That vote is expected to take place later this summer.<<<<<

The Leon Lett play was legendary also. "Let it be". Crazy way to end a game. He had 2 crazy plays that year with the fumble also after showboating and holding the ball out. Good times. Will admit that the Girls can be entertaining and amusing at times.
