Re: Game Day #7: not quite the scabs game
Seems like everyone is complaining about the offense when the D is clearly the bigger concern. Get Whitt off play calling already.
I seriously don't get this shit either. Got damn fools on twitter/reddit talking about how Peters didn't address WR enough in their books in the off-season. I'm like, dude, he drafted McCaffrey, traded for Deebo, re-signed Terry. What the fuck else they want? THey want 3 draft picks used on WR too? NO fucking team in the NFL is going to do decent on offense if their top 2 WRs go down to injury. You think Bengals going to do alright if Higgins/Chase goes down? NO, they aren't. The bigger fucking issue (and has been since last year) is the god damn defense. It's fucking terrible and need to be addressed more than ANYTHING on the offense. Period. |
Re: Game Day #7: not quite the scabs game
Unfortunately there are issues all over the place. Both sides of the ball included. We have no second or fourth round draft picks next year.
Right now concentrate on KC. We somehow win that game and it would go a long way in the good feelings department. |

For my own sanity I am looking forward to next weeks game to just shut everyone up including myself. Lol. |
Re: Game Day #7: not quite the scabs game
I think the thing that is concerning me most is that while we're lacking talent in certain areas for sure, but even with those limitations, it feels like we're not playing up to our potential.

Re: Game Day #7: not quite the scabs game
We need a youth movement. I’d gladly live with a down year with one the youngest rosters; while they go through growing pains. Get that experience and then hit the road running the following year.
AP was fooled by last year and thought we are contenders. Build it the right way or you will never field a consistent winner and eventually you’ll find yourself out of a job. |

Armstrong out for the season I just read. Unreal. Our best pass rusher by a mile.

Knee injury. Awful. One of the few bright spots.

Scheme and coaching is worse than the roster. But injuries have hurt us pn DL as well. |

Sigh
Like I said if you wanna put your money on KC to cover I aint gonna stop you. Lol. Watching the Lions backup secondary look better than our starters. Is that better talent or better coaching? Probably both. |

Re: Game Day #7: not quite the scabs game
Injuries have taken a hold of this team too much. Losing all the defensive ends Wise, Jean-Baptiste, and Armstrong is a massive loss along with all the receivers and Ekeler. I'm still totally supportive of AP. Health is such a huge variable and right now it's working against us a ton. NFL is truly a merciless sport. Hope to see JD5 back soon.

The only chance we have is if all of our WRs are back and JD5 Plays.. If not we lose by 20
