Yes.

The vote was partisan because Republicans didn't like the fact that the bill did not have the appropriate measures to hold the FDA accountable, as did the bill the Republicans proposed on Wednesday - which would have increased the supply of baby formula, AND establish oversight and accountability at the FDA, rather than just throw $$ at the FDA without fixing the actual problem.
Are you referring to the FORMULA Act?

George W. Bush called Iraq war ‘unjustified and brutal.’ He meant Ukraine.

Actually, both statements true.

First…we don’t need to stimulate the economy anymore. Payments to student loans should have started already.

I don’t support a policy that would benefit the high earning elites. Absolutely no way should attendees at private schools or any post graduate borrowing be included. Ivy League schools borrowing should be disqualified as well.

I’d say public school borrowers who make under 50k a year maybe should have a percentage forgiven especially if they have carried the debt more than 10 years. But I don’t support any policy that fully wipes away anybody debt…if you borrower you should be made to pay at least a majority back.

I too agree some student loan debt should be repaid.

I took Ramsey's Financial Peace University class through my old church in San Diego. Good stuff in there that I still use today.
