Is China doing their part? Lol
That is the classic red herring response. Why should we lower our standards as Americans? We are either leaders or we aren't. This is the equivalent of parents of telling a ten year old they need to go to bed at 8 pm and they complaining that Johnny's parents let them stay up till 11. Is China doing their part? No but neither are we. We can lead by example improve technology and be innovators that make efficiency and renewable far more reliable and affordable. Right now I don't give a shit what China is doing until we actually start doing something ourselves. |

Trump in the meantime has a tough decision to make. His next VP candidate will probably be a female to get that female vote, but he needs someone who would be loyal to the end unlike Pence - Pence literally was the only person standing in the way of Trump holding onto power. MTG? Lake? Boebert? Noem? Tough choice. |

Doesn't really matter who he picks as VP as he will lose in any general election and if he doesn't win the primary he will likely burn the GOP down and hand the win to the Dems. Today is a great day for the Dems. |

For instance - if Russian oligarchs donate to the NRA and then the NRA donates to Republican candidates - I 100% think that should be tracked and penalized as foreign influence on our elections. But I digress. Your party controls the house Chico, if they want to embark on a bunch of partisan investigations that is their right. |

A candidate for South Dakota’s House of Representatives has been arrested and charged with sexual assault days after losing his election … to his own mother. Records show that Bud Marty May was brought into the Pennington County Jail on Nov. 13 on a charge of second-degree rape by way of “force, coercion or threats.” A conviction would carry a maximum penalty of 50 years imprisonment and up to $50,000 worth of fines. The victim told investigators that May physically accosted her in a bar bathroom, telling her that he was “6′8″, white, it is all consensual.” According to law enforcement reports reviewed by the Rapid City Journal, the woman was found by police officers hiding within the bar “with dirt, blood and an abrasion on her face.” The blood allegedly came from a pre-existing wound on May’s forehead, which is visible in his mugshot. May told the court that the alleged interaction “was simply a hug.” Sexual assault is not the only current case against May, the former candidate is involved in an unresolved case regarding driving without a license and expired plates, and has multiple outstanding warrants from the Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety. https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/19/us/nyc-jewish-threat-community-arrest/index.html Just this week…now let’s peak at the data in the article: New York state leads the nation in anti-Semitic incidents, with at least 416 reported in 2021, including at least 51 assaults – the highest number ever recorded by the Anti-Defamation League in New York. There were 12 assaults reported in 2020, the ADL said in an audit last week. You got New York…leading again from above…with NBA star located in Brooklyn of all places spreading blatant antisemetic rhetoric on social media with a Charlottesville-like support awaiting his return spreading antisemitic propaganda of their own on the streets of NY. Seems like that’s a problem that shouldn’t be ignored. Maybe confronting it would be an idea |

I signed up a few years ago for my state senator, Chris West, newsletter. He is a Republican and I have even attended a few of his donation campaigns. One of the things I admired about him is he cosponsored a legislation to phase out the coal fired power plants in the state to combat climate change. Anyways here are is his Maryland election reviews.
The first is a dismantling of Dan Cox and his poorly ran campaign. As Mr. West points out we have had six gubernatorial elections this century in Maryland and republicans have won three of six, https://senatorchriswest.com/sendy-01/w/fj92763AFHyWR3tz892hb3eyiQ/xZr3K9nWTCj892Xmt7b621qQ/XpfDxJVbBoTqFpZfYmJMXA |
