Good to see violence inciting Antifa accounts finally removed from Twitter. Never understood how accounts which promotes violence from alt right where blocked (which is correct) but Antifa was allowed to stay and continue to threatening political violence against folks.

So I got me a coffee bean grinder, Ox bow drip coffee thing and have bought some fresh roasted beans from Mad City.

Wish I got a bigger grinder .. this things was a $15 small one and I had to do 2 grind fills to get enough for one cup

Ox Bow thing .. seems like a campfire coffee rig. Like the grinder I bought the small version but it makes 3/5 cup at best.

----------

Going to grind my new beans and just use my standard mr coffee machine.

The smell of fresh roasted beans being grounded is amazing though.

Former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii recently called out President Joe Biden for his role in helping to advance the "radical 'woke'" agenda that has resulted in the tragic mutilation of thousands of children.

"We have leaders in today's Democrat Party who are actively pushing an agenda to sexualize our kids at very young ages in public schools, and impose this radical transgender ideology that actually encourages young kids to go through dangerous medical procedures under this very misleading guise of 'gender-affirming care," said Gabbard on the Nov. 15 episode of her podcast, "'Woke' Gender Lies, Child Abuse, and Mutilation."

Gabbard referenced a recent study in JAMA Pediatrics, which indicated that there has been a 389% increase in gender-mutilating operations.

TheBlaze previously reported on the study, which showed in 2016, approximately 100 adolescents had their chests mutilated. Only a few years later, there had been 489 of these mutilating surgeries performed in a single year, representing an increase of nearly 400%.

There were an estimated 1,130 so-called chest reconstructive surgeries performed on children from 2016 to 2019. That number continues to grow.

Study was from 2016 to 2019 ...

It's a big gripe with me - you can't be saying you're the most pro-union president in history and then shit on every rail worker union in the country when they are asking for the most basic standards of worker decency in the country. Biden gets a big F on this one. Somebody needs to advise him he's taking an L either way, because he takes an L looking like an asshat who won't stand behind the unions, or he takes the L when they strike and the trains stop moving. Either way he's taking an L.

I can only speak for me personally - and me personally its' because this week, last week, and next week I'm busy as fuck at work and don't have much time at all to catch up on the news or comment - which is usually the time when I'm most active on here.

Yes Kanye is incredibly fucked up - you know you've gone off the deep end when even Alex Jones is like "woah buddy, you're saying the quiet part out loud."

No, they're not. But Biden and Congress basically said railroads are too critical to the country to even be allowed to strike, so workers have no recourse other than doing an illegal strike which they could be locked up for.

If I understand this right all but 4 of the 12 Unions agreed to the contract. Lets not for get the Railroad employees are the only pensions that are life time Tax free add in a 25% increase over 5 years. Just saying no contract does a Union get everything they want.

This is an outstanding article about the FTX scandal and what was the criminal activity. There has been a media push for some reason or another to explain this was just a mistake or SBF had a bad week. This is a lie of course as SBF has given millions to media companies to enable him to receive good press while scamming and commit out right fraud.

If you want some clarity of what happened, this is the most informative article so far:

Might be archaic but it's a real law that still stands. Not unusual for two sides once they reach an impasse to bring in a Federal Mediator.

https://www.rutgers.edu/news/why-did-government-step-prevent-rail-strike-and-what-does-it-mean-unions

Why Did the Government Step in to Prevent a Rail Strike and What Does It Mean for Unions?

How did Congress and the president get involved in settling the dispute? What is their role with the unions?

Labor relations in the railroad and airline industries are governed by a specific piece of federal labor law known as the Railway Labor Act (RLA). Unlike the National Labor Relations Act, which establishes labor law for the entire private sector, or the various state laws that govern public sector labor relations, the RLA has a long process that involves cooling off periods, mediation and even government intervention before allowing a strike to occur. In September, the president got involved in negotiations and brokered a tentative agreement to avert a strike before the midterm elections. In the weeks since then, the 12 rail unions have been individually voting on whether to accept the terms of that agreement. Four unions, representing just over half of the 115,000 rail workers, have voted “no,” which re-opened the pathway for a strike if the unions and employers cannot come to a new agreement that addresseS the workers’ lingering concerns by December 9.
