Hogan moved school staff up to 1B in vaccinations. Happy news. Still think it is somewhat unlikely we get back into buildings this year. Without students have vaccines we will still have lots of parents opt to keep students home.
California's equity focus causing some vaccine delays, health secretary says California Health and Human Services Secretary Dr. Mark Ghaly was peppered with questions about the state's COVID-19 vaccine rollout Tuesday, as many wondered why the state has only administered about a quarter of available doses. 25% of their stockpile? JFC...completely unacceptable. California vaccine rollout has an absolute failure to go along with their disaster covid strategy. |
Re: Coronavirus (non political)
These vaccines need to start being administered. Not sure what the delay is. Ive heard about getting on a wait list for cancellations and Elliot in the morning sd someone got the vaccine just by being in a pharmacy at closing time and a tech was walking around asking if anyone wants.

Re: Coronavirus (non political)
It's just crazy that a plan wasn't in place for once we had vaccines ready go. Really, really frustrating.

Re: Coronavirus (non political)
When it's my favorite team I'm as invested as I can be, regardless of crowds or not.
But it's definitely harder to mentally invest in a casual game, with no fans. Flipped to the UCLA/Stanford basketball game. Not only was there no fans, Stanford wasn't even playing in their arena. I already was just going to flip it on while I flippped around the interwebs, but it just sucked any interest I had at all. Changed the channel. Long story short, we need fans in stadiums, arenas, concerts, etc. asap. |

I read they are prioritizing Baltimore and PG County currently. I also read you have to just keep trying the live link but no one recently has gotten lucky (at least for Montgomery County). You cant even get on a waiting list. I guess Ill just keep clicking the links to Giant/Safeway/Adventist Health a few times a day. Keep getting the "currently not available" |

Nice. I found one place that had a small glimmer of hope but are prioritizing 1A and 1B. I clicked 1C bc that what my parents are and it didnt let me go further. Im just sitting on the page re clicking but it feels useless. I feel like they moved to phase 1C to give the appearance of progress and competence. ----------------- At this time, the federal government is giving the state approximately 10,000 doses/day for over 1.5 million people who are eligible. Supply is very limited. Find a Vaccination Clinic Near You https://coronavirus.maryland.gov/pages/vaccine 10k a day .. yesh. --------------------- The appointment slots released on Monday, Feb. 1 are now full. Holy Cross Health will release the date of our next COVID-19 vaccine clinics Thursday, Feb. 4 at 4 p.m., which will include a limited number of appointment slots for community members in Groups 1A and 1B. https://www.holycrosshealth.org/health-and-wellness/covid-19-vaccine/schedule-appointment Its like ticketmaster circa 1998 for Lollapaloza tickets or something. ANYONE 1C in wheaton/silver spring ... be on there at 4 pm sharp today to see if you get lucky |
