Yeah, but it was bad yesterday cause we had some serious thunderstorms. We get violent storms, it never just rains, it gets bad and floods since there is no drainage system here.
I actually think dry heat is worse cause you don't know how much water you're losing, when it's humid you know it.
Yeah, humidity just makes it feel so much damn hotter than it actually is. I just moved back to DC from the swamps of Florida. In the summer the humidity is 80% plus EVERY day. It can be 85 and it feels like 105. Ugh. And quake, Tim Tebow is THE man. When you open up a can of whoop ass, Tebow jumps out. Superman wears Tim Tebow pajamas. When the boogeyman goes to sleep at night, he checks in the closet for Tim Tebow. |

excuses excuses, Florida kicked your ass! haha. I used to like Florida until they gave us a sorry excuse for a coach (I won't mention names cause that's worse than the F word). I just dislike LSU so very very much cause I have two friends here that are from Louisiana and they are so obnoxious about those tigers. F-em. |

no they retracted the age from 33 to 30. |

Yeah, if it's 105 here it feels like 106 or so. We'll hit 115 at some point. We're always the hottest in New Mexico cause we're in a valley. |

Was it luck or just flat out GREAT, defense?? FYI Urban Meyer hasn't lost a single game in the Swamp. 23-10 isn't lucky my friend. We kicked your ass. We forced SIX turnovers, four of which were from the #1 overall pick, your boy Russell. Tebow, a TRUE freshman, punched your overrated defense right in the mouth. You were overmatched, plain and simple. Sorry. And yeah, I'm sure Matt Flynn is the QB to lead LSU to the SEC title. LOL! |

Notre Dame is THE mecca of college football. They have all the history! So even them kicking rocks is better football than what the LSU aligator eaters can do. "Hey lookie ovr der...lets eat it" |

CONGRATS MAN!! That is my and my girlfriend's and alma mater. Trust me, it won't take long in Gainesville before you catch the fever that is the Gator Nation. I promise. It's infectious. I could have cared less about Florida sports (I was a terrapin, and ironically an Ohio State fan when I moved there. That changed after a month). The basketball team will take a season or two to reload, but the football program won't miss a beat as long as the Urban Legend is running the show. Trust me, go to one, just ONE game in the Swamp and you'll know what I'm talking about. Where are you living?? What day are you moving there? Just remember, if you ain't a Gator, you're Gator bait. |

How can you hate Notre Dame? They are class all the way, and maintain very high acedemic standards! I went to church, out to eat, wrote an e-mail to my boss, watched the NASCAR race from last night and played with the dogs. That's about it other than calling my buddy that moved to Denver who's trying to get me a job there. What's funny is I have 3 people trying to find me jobs in 3 different places. 1- Denver, 2- Huntsville, AL, 3- Brunswick, GA. |

Do you know what apartment complex you're living in? If not I can recommend some. Also, are you looking for work down there? I know A TON of people. I lived there for 8 years and have lots of connections. I'll be down there for homecoming this football season, so maybe we can meet up! Oh, and you say that now about LSU, but wait. Just wait. I don't anyone, I mean, not ONE SINGLE PERSON who went to UF for undergrad that likes any college team more than the Gators. You'll see. Trust me. |

Florida is a tougher school to get into than LSU, especially out of state. Did you not apply to LSU? Give Florida a chance my man. It's an amazing school and with a great reputation that is only getting better. Good for you for having a good amount of savings to get through the year. I would definitely recommend you stay as far away from student loans as you can. Anyway, do you know what apartment complex you're living in? |

Huh, that is surprising to me. Anyway, try to keep an open mind about Florida. Granted I'm biased as an alum, but it is an excellent school. Is your girlfriend planning on transferring as well? Some apartment complexes I recommend: Campus Club, Campus Lodge, The Estates (all 3 have furnished units available, plus internet, cable, utilities and alarm system included in rent), Hidden Lake (where I've lived the past 4 years), Countryside, The Reserve, The Gables... Those are a few of the better complexes as far as amenities/living quality are concerned. |
