Graham is good at nickel and on special teams. I'd approve that signing.
Lets hope he works out better than Wilson |
Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
isnt berry still on his rookie contract before they "slotted" the values?

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
$10M a year for Byrd doesn't sound crazy to me at all. He's going to have several teams making a serious push for him so his price is only going to shoot up.

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
As long as the skins arent giving him his 10 mill, or Talib whatever he wants.

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
The Miami Herald's Adam Beasley is hearing that chatter of free agent FS Jairus Byrd landing with the Dolphins is a "smokescreen."
The smokescreen was apparently leaked by Byrd's reps to the NFL Network, which reported Sunday the Fins were "expressing real interest" in this year's top free agent safety. It may be a sign Byrd's camp isn't satisfied with his contract offers to date, which wouldn't be shocking. Byrd is seeking $9 million per year. That's an awful lot to pay a safety with 4.68 speed going on age 28. rotoworld Lotta smoke being blown, and not just by chico |

Especially with all the 4.2 safties running around in the NFL. |
Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
Chad Rhinehart signs with San Diego.
Take him off your list. |
Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
Rinehart was on my list.

We're NOT interested in bringing in Antonio and his dozen children to our locker room. https://twitter.com/MikeJonesWaPo/status/443047238282264576 |
Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
For the life of me, I have no idea why the FO would pay any one player 9 to 10 million when we need at least 6 to 7 solid new solid starters to be competitive.

Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
Early indications/reports are that on Tuesday we will be strongly connected to or sign:
Talib & Anthony Collins (per Jeff Darlington, NFL Network) Mike Mitchell, Kenny Britt, Andrew Hawkins (John Keim) Darren Sproles (Mike Freeman, Bleacher Report) I'm good with all of those as they fit needs, but the numbers will tell the story. Other than Talib it doesn't seem like any are big $ guys. The RB market is depressed and Sproles could be a $3m/yr guy and make a nice impact on the offense. |
Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
Darren Sproles?
WTF do we do with him? Don't we have Helu for that kind of thing? |
Re: Current 2014 Free Agents
Im personally tired of Sproles scoring TDs against everyone and not wearing a Skins uni while participating in that activity. Bruce, its time for Sproles to score TDs for us.
