Very good point. Kaep, Wilson, and Dalton have great offensive lines. Luck, I'm not 100%.
Luck's Oline is mediocre. |
Wilson has nothing to do but hand the ball over to Marshawn Lynch and stand behind a great offensive line.
Otherwise I agree with you in terms of Luck, Dalton, and Kaep.
I might throw Tannehill and Foles in there as well. |

Luck is far ahead than Kaep and Wilson. But the Colts' line is still better than our line; I wish our line was at least mediocre. |

He is ahead of Kaep. Luck turns the ball over a lot still so I wouldn't put him above Wilson as far as development. |
It was game 1 of year 1 of a new coach, one that is committing to developing RG3 into more of a pocket passer. I think we may want to give it just a little more time. Gruden has preached patience since he got here. Wilson, Dalton, Luck, etc are all still growing too. And they're not coming off knee injuries and coaching drama.
I hear you but the losing is getting to folks. Riddle me this. How many months has it been since the Redskins have won a meaningful game? |
Re: Skins vs Texans Gameday Thread
Sigh, welcome to week 1. How forgot how fun this is.

Well Luck has to throw the ball a lot, because he's the focus of the Colts' offense. Wilson doesn't have to throw the ball that much. Interestingly, Wilson should've had two INTs against Green Bay, but they were both dropped. |

The Redskins have not won a game since 9/3/2013! I think folks can feel a bit justifed when bitching about them. |
Re: Skins vs Texans Gameday Thread
Meh, they're 0-1 in my mind. Last year is long gone.

Re: Skins vs Texans Gameday Thread
I would say the colts OL is in worst shape than the Redskins.

^ but the pain lingers on

Re: Skins vs Texans Gameday Thread
All I wanted for my birthday today was a Redskins win over last season's worst team. Too tall an order I guess. At least Tony Romo cares about me and gave me the next best thing, a Cowboys loss.

BTW Tyler Polumbus is better off on the practice squad. OPEN IT UP!!
Just curious. What were you (or anybody) expecting out of a Polumbus vs Watt matchup? Do you realize JJ Watt is the best defensive player in the NFL? He routinely makes RTs look like pure shit. It's on the coach to devise a plan to negate him or provide extra blocking. Not many guys in the league can handle Watt. It certainly wasn't going to be Polumbus, Moses, or Winston off the street. We still had our chances and didn't get it done, simple as that. |
