Thanks. Unless I get worse, I'm pretty lucky on my symptoms. Basically just feels like a cold at this point.

That hasn't happened yet to me. But I'm only 1 day in, so I'll just cross my fingers and hope I don't experience that.

Smell makes up 90 percent of your taste. What is is actually happing is you lose your smell which effects your taste immensely.

I can stick my whole nose in a Tide bottle and smell nothing. I can taste salt and vinger and that is about it.

The no taste is frustrating. The no smell is just odd.

Odd seems like the perfect word. Like you know it absolutely smells like something and it doesn't matter. Hopefully it comes back for you asap.

I think the rest of the country is looking at Texas right now like WTF are you doing? Hopefully most people will have enough sense to keep wearing masks even without a mandate.
