I like this move, leaving no stone unturned. Reyes looks athletic, it will be interesting to see how he translate it on the field when hitting/tackling is live.. At worse, he will contribute something to the team a little more than T. Moss ever did.
I like getting TEs from the basketball side of sports. It seems to be a good crossover position in terms of find open spots, size matchups, and quick burst speed.

.... and, an instinctive use of the body to shield the defender from the ball ... great in the red zone, like rebounding in a crowded lane.

We'll see how this goes -- can't hurt to see how it plays out. Maybe he's a diamond in the rough.

Interesting read ... another QB turned TE ... similar measurements to Logan Thomas.

With this guy, and the dude from Chili/hoopster at Tulane, maybe RR saw no need to keep Moss around.

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread

Might be fantasy, but imagine these 2 work out as strong backups to/equivalent of Thomas. We might not need to draft a TE, leaving us free to use the picks on other needs. A 3 TE set with these guys might be a real boon in the red zone.

We can dream!

Yeah, I bet they don't draft a TE. At least it is not a priority now with six on the roster. Some dudes that are pretty green at the position, but if they can coach 'em up - could be a good group.

This tidbit about our Chilean TE is encouraging ....

I have no idea how accurate these profiles are, but you gotta like a guy who scores higher than Kyle Pitts -- or any other TE - ever - for that matter.

I guess I can see why RR didn't wait to sign him.

"According to NFL Network analyst and long-time NFL football executive, Scott Pioli, Reyes ran a 4.64 in the 40 yard dash and reached 31 bench press reps while producing a 40″ vertical and 10’5″ leap in the broad jump."

Basically, he's a slower, stronger version of Montez Sweat?

Re: WFT's Off-Season Thread

Worth pointing out, multiple teams were interested in signing Reyes but he chose the Skins as we were early in interest and the agent preferred Ron combined with our TE coach who has a solid history of developing TE talent

That will have the ball in his hands!

Sweat did OK with the ball in his hands last season :)

Redwolves fans are crying..

Of this list only Warriors makes real sense. I’d just keep it WFT

Gotta write in Washington Football Team. Avoid voting for any other option.

Having said that ...

On that list ...

DCFC
Warriors

But I think Snyder wants Warriors so that taints it quite a bit.

It it's Rubies or Rising I'll have a nervous breakdown. Some of the other names are pretty cool.

What is a Swifts?
