Anyone over age 50 can now get the vaccine in NY. Feels like momentum is finally swinging in the right direction.

Close but not quite. I live in one county and work for another. Not putting it out there bc not a fan of sharing too much on the web.

Got my first shot yesterday, last Friday signed up for one from a CVS in Richmond. I underestimated how much it was going to kick my ass, my shoulder is really sore, slept like shit bc shoulder was bothering me the entire night, and been nauseous since I woke up.

Would still do it all over again though. Just try and schedule it for the weekend or a Friday bc I'm guessing feeling like shit is pretty common the next day.

Thanks B-more.

Day and a half later and I still can't sleep because my shoulder is so gd sore. Never had this reaction to a shot before, wish it would hurry up and pass.

Which one did you get ? My reactions were mild but the others in the family had some stuff but it cleared up in a day maybe two at the most.

It's got to. Once the vaccines are available to everyone this Country has to get back to being 100 percent open again. Yeah , masks, hand washing and sanitizer will still be around and the norm but we / the Country needs to get back out there.

Have a friend whose sister got Covid in April had a high fever and in bed for a week. Received the pfizer vaccine felt even worse after that and then last week wasn't feeling well and tested positive for Covid again. I did not say this to her because she is pretty upset about her sister but I would think of course she would test positive after having the vaccine especially if it is an antigen test. If true talk about bad luck.

Had my first shot today, Pfizer.

I was really impressed with how smooth and efficient the process was. Went to a NY state run site. Took about 20 minutes door to door.

Did they make an appointment for your second shot before you left?

Week and a half later and I still have a bruise on my shoulder. I think my nurse went in through my shoulder bone or something, everybody has told me that isn't normal.

Vaccinated people do not carry the virus — they don’t get sick,” Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC, told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow on Tuesday. That’s “not just in the clinical trials, but it’s also in real-world data.”

This isn’t getting enough run...why?

Lotta folks who said this ended up being 100% correct...Rand Paul specifically comes to mind

No more mask shaming...it’s perfectly ok not to wear them after you have been vaccinated
