Re: Ramsey to the Jets Nearly Done
What are you saying? That he trust Burnell and Campbell and not Ramsey? I do trust him[Gibbs]!! That is why I just don't think we will go in to the 06 season with Burnell and Campbell as our only QB's. If it isn't Ramsey it will be a Vet brought in! To much at stake to leave it up to a QB that never played a down in the NFL if Burnell is hurt!!!!!
I'm very sure we will pick up a veteran QB as a safety net. Gibbs loves depth especially at the QB position. |
Re: Ramsey to the Jets Nearly Done
I'm Hearing Todd Collins From Kc Due To His Connection With Al Saunders. In My Eyes That Isn't Much Of A Vet. But What Vet Is Gonna Come In Here And Willingly Know That They Are Number 3 On The Depth Chart. The Pool Isn't That Big In This Area

Re: Ramsey to the Jets Nearly Done
I think I read on NFL.com that they might sign Todd Collins as early as tomorrow. Personally, I don't think that's the best choice. But he is familiar with Al Saunders' system. Then again, Wuerffel and Shane Matthews were intimately familiar with Spurrier's system.
Collins seems like the very logical choice. He knows the system and he can help Brunell and Campbell along in the transition to Saunders' offense. |

Re: Ramsey to the Jets Nearly Done
Did Spurrier even have a system?
Oh yeah, it was called the chuck and duck. Seriously, anyone remember when Jansen said they didn't even have a gameplan going into a game?? Even Pop Warner teams have gameplans. |

Would this cost a boat load of cash to get Collins??? |

It better not, a 35-year old 3rd string QB can't be worth that much money. |
Re: Ramsey to the Jets Nearly Done
He'll Be Cheap If Thats The Route We Go. The Deal Is Probably Already Done. Just Waiting Til 1201 To Sign It.
