well, i got back to the safe spot in alien and am now manual pressing the a key for an undetermined number of hours, so i hope that makes everyone happy, but its just a waste of time.

Exploiting a glitch in a game is much different to me than writing a macro that helps you get an insane high score. A glitch is part of the game, a macro is not.

Don't get me wrong, both methods suck, but writing a macro crosses the line of cheating.

except they're scores i could easily get anyways, as i'm doing now. writing something to do something a human could not do takes much MUCH MUCH longer than actually posting your own scores anyways. The only time to bother with that is if money is involved. no one wastes time botting flash games.

The arcade isn't about hitting a high score in the least amount of time possible.

I guess you don't get it, or maybe everyone else is just suckers for playing the games as they were meant to be played.

Go ahead and keep writing macros if that's what really gets you off in the arcade. Nobody is going to know the difference anyway.

are you trying to be dense? I said i'm fixing it, i'm at 700k right now and i'll bypass that score soon.

there will be no scores for anyone to consider illegit, hence a non-issue.

what is the problem here? it's over. done, yet still, so much crap. If i had said absoluelty nothing none of this would have ever come up. as it is, no "bad" scores will remain. so why are you still harping on it like i killed your wife? seriously...
