Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
35-3 prediction, huh?
SO because we're short on CBs, their defense will suddenly be able to stop the run? Sure, that makes sense. I still believe we have a great shot to win.
Well, we defintely are not going to stop the Colts offense. While my originial prediction of 35-3 is overly pessimistic, even for me, I definitely see the Colts winning by 3 tds. I hope to God Im wrong, but that's what Im thinking, a 3 td cushion...."cushion" somehow Carlos Rogers keeps jumping into my thought process. |
Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
lets not get crazy...we would need portis to have a monster day, even if he does, who is goign to stop harrison and wayne?
I really hope duckett gets some looks... |
Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
we should put Portis and Moss on defense. Portis has prolly taken some more tackling drills since preseason, we certainly know he'll run'em down.
Moss said he'd be phenomonal at Cover-2, so we should have him pick off passes and run em back. reunited with ST all our U players together would give our defense that spark we need. |

Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
i think it'll be more of a shootout similar to the jags game. i say skins win 31-27.

Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
I also have a strange feeling the Skins will somehow manage to win, It's one of those games where if your a Colts fan your like easy who we got next week. much like many of us were last week when we faced the Titans. I still believe!

Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
The biggest problem this week is that we don't pressur the ball (obvious)
We don't stop the pass (obvious) Peyton Manning is the best of all time at identifying the blitz and adjusting on the fly (obvious) And we have injuries across the board (obvious) If there aren't dramatic changes, we will be down 28-0 by halftime, and only a moron would keep running the ball then. Our best chance is winning the coin toss and scoring on an 8-minute drive where we run it down their throats. I would actually like to see the first play of the game be a bomb down the sideline to Brandon Lloyd, then 20 consectutive run and screen plays. God help us As long as Snyder holds the power, no Superbowls for our Redskins |

So I gotta ask why bother being a fan? I mean if you already know that there is no hope then why waste your time? |

you gotta have Faith man!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
It won't be easy but I still have faith. Any team can beat any other team on any given Sunday (or Monday, or the occasional Saturday, and perhaps Thursday).
What really matters is if Springs can play and be effective.
Springs can only cover Marvin or Wayne assuming he is healthy. If we are counting on our corners to make plays all day we are done. We need big time pressure from the D-line to have any chance. (A Taylor fumble recovery for a T.D. would be nice too...) Indy is a fast track. The last time I checked, we have some speed. Who's checking Santana? |
Re: Rogers out: Colts 35, Skins 3
Titans just did to us what we need to the Colts.:towel:
