Re: Osi Done For The Year
Court is going to rule on his divorce settlement amount tommorow.
The more she gets the more likely he'll sign, since she won't get a penny of this contract. Just my cynical opinion. J-Dawg |
Re: Osi Done For The Year
I think the odds are increasing by the minute of MS making a return to the Giants, if the coin is right.....?

Re: Osi Done For The Year
If the coin is right...what a f*cking joke.
If we ever have a life-long player who dicks around our team as much as Strahan has dicked his team around the last few years and then when we need him the most his reply is "show me the money" I hope to god Joe Gibbs drives up from NC and puts a bullet in that guy's head. How about some respect, honr and loyalty to the organization that you played for your entire career. The org that made you a name. I know money is the name of the game in today's game but I do get the distinct feeling that most players do enjoy the game and have enough respect for the game that they wouldn't attempt to extort their own team. |

Why exactly would Gibbs drive up from NC to put a bullet in the head of a retired player, and for a rival team? ps- there is NOTHING wrong with naming your price. Strahan doesn't need the Giants, the Giants need Strahan. |

See above post. But I still say, he can name his own price, the Giants can either pay him, or let him stay retired. The Giants need him, not the other way around. Nor does Strahan owe the Giants anything. |

It is a business, there is no such thing as loyalty. |

The NFL is a business first and foremost. All this talk about loyalty and honor is something that keeps the fans happy. If Strahan was on the decline these past few years the Giants would have had no problem letting him go. So it works both ways. All he's looking for is his market value. The Giants were interested in obtaining Jason Taylor for you guessed it, $8M per year. Why is it so crazy to think that Strahan shouldn't ask for the same? Your bullet in the head comment is pretty wack. |

WTF are you talking about? I'm not sure what world your living in, but it's not the world of business! Loyalty my ass, this is business! If the Giants call him they need him ...right? pretty obvious he's already retired. What do you expect the man to play for free OR even less than market value, that makes zero sense! You get as much as you can in this business NOW. It can be over in one snap! |
Re: Osi Done For The Year
Pay Strahan, hes a future HOF let him come back.

I'm pretty sure that top pass rushers in the NFL make somewhere near what MS is asking for. Since when is that extorting?? |
Re: Osi Done For The Year
