Interesting...you would think the killing of the previous hijackers and the conviction of one of them a few weeks ago would have taught them a lesson.

Nope need more positive reinforcement for them to catch on. They probably see a couple people killed a month. They need to learn that if you hijack us you die. No questions asked.

You might think that would work, but their lives are so bad that it's almost like death anyway. I think it's worth it to them to maybe take that chance to have a slightly better life. I'm sure every one of them knows what might happen, but I just don't think they care.

I would not think a few hundred??? thugs cavorting around in Evinrude powered launches would really be worthy of any serious concern by the US Military? Unless of course they are led by the infamous Osama Bin Laden......

Well so far it seems that negotiating has not worked and from what I have read not very many have paid the ultimate price. Its sad that I have to think that way about a human life but they need to learn you cannot go around hijacking ships. In this case they not only hijacked a ship they killed.
