Vinny has no power without Danny's backing, I think He could keep the title, they could bring in a GM with autonomy.. and everything would be all honky dory in Redskins land for Vinny |

For those, like me, that are lesser informed on this: washingtonpost.com |

Going back on this.. was listening to a 106.7 recap and they had a really good point.. why the hell do we even know our team's attorney's name? and on top of that, coming from me, man.. having your attorney overseeing everything at FedEx? and this guy is a pompous prick too just saw something on ES about mailing out your symbolic "fan card" to redskins park and media outlets, a lot cheaper than bus ads |

They are trying to get the point across to lil man in a civilized manner. Dan's attorney the new COO or whatever the hell he is, making all these great moves (None on Dan's behalf....I'm sure:doh:) thats just another foolish decision! http://realredskins.com/2009/10/turn-in-your-fan-card.html Vinny should go ahead and start packing now, right along with Zorn. |
Re: Will Dan Snyder finally fire Vinny Cerrato
So, At what point in this season does this happen. Does Danny wait and see how the rest of the season goes. Does Zorn get fired first or does everyone go at the end of the season. and yeah, i thought they were turning it around, but at 3-7 we are eliminated for this year, so the question has to be asked.

Re: Will Dan Snyder finally fire Vinny Cerrato
Everyone finishes out the year. Zorn. Players. Coaches. Cerrato.
But as soon as the clock winds down in San Diego on January 3rd, 2010 and as we are more than likely losing (Come on, you know its true) and the Redskins players and staff are wondering where they'll be in September of 2010, Snyder sits in his box, cackling maniacally and rubbing his hands together, plotting exactly who he's getting rid of, who he's bringing in and how he's going to go about doing it. Fin. |

Re: Will Dan Snyder finally fire Vinny Cerrato
I don't think we should get our hopes up about Snyder firing his weird little toady or about the real operations within the FO changing substantially. The ONLY reason to have a Vinny in the first place is so lil D can be as involved as he likes. There's probably a million Vinny's out there...guys of mediocre talent at best who will take a fake GM job title as a trade-off for a very nice paycheck. My guess is Snyder will continue to want control, whether he finds a new "Vinny" or keeps the real one is immaterial.
