Doesn't mean we won't bring him back in like three weeks on a one-year deal, but I really believe there are no discussions of an extension right now (or ever).

I actualy heard some idiot on NFL live yesturday say Brandon Lloyd would be the suprise reciever in Free agency. I never thought I would here his name again.

It's definately worth saying: none of the cuts have been any guys who had any guaranteed money in their 2010 salaries. That's probably good news for Griffin, Portis, Moss. Samuels is the exception to the rule, for obvious reasons.

The one cut I am expecting that hasn't come yet is Mike Sellers.

Then there's Andre Carter. The Redskins declined to pick up the contract option on Randle El, opting instead for a severance package. They could do the same thing with Carter, but I have to imagine that they will be picking up the next few years of his contract (through 2013? 14?).
