yeah...i dont know if we can count a long run against one of the league's worst teams.

Detroit, who statistically WAS the worst team, stuffed him pretty easily..

Willie Parker is not an improvement over Ladell Betts or Rock Cartwright. All of these backs are on the downside of their careers. Betts and Parker are coming off injury shortened seasons. I prefer Quinton Ganther over all these guys. I would prefer to see Shanahan draft a running back in the 3rd or 4th round. A backfield of Portis, Ganther and a rookie would be preferable.

we dont have a 3rd in this year's draft. but i would like to see a rb taken in the 4th, especially if we are lucky enough to grab montario hardesy out of tennessee.

I'm with you. This move just doesn't make sense to me. Shanny is known for findiing good young backs, let him find them!

Clinton Portis should have cut it back right across the field at the end to use Mike Sellers body for the last block

He was about to fall over from exhaustion anyway. I remember thinking, while watching that he got tackled on pupose because he couldn't make it any further.

Another day, another visit -nothing done. This FO is annoying! I bet ya a player comes into the contract negotiations with a big smile because its the skins. Then Bruce throws a bag a peanuts to them and say's sign this is your pay. Then they leave pissed!
