Re: The 10 Commandments For Drinking Like A Man
Once you get in the 70s, several things happen. One is, you stop celebrating birthdays. I've forbidden my wife -- I said, "Please, no birthday things! I don't need to pretend to open a gift and say, 'This is just what I wanted!' " I said, "Don't get me anything. We'll just have a glass of wine." Seventy-nine is not so bad. I might savor it for a while.

If Clint Eastwood drinks wine then by all means..it is manly. There is no more debate. |

Though at 79 testosterone is so depleted that he might as well be a woman. SCIENCE BURN! |
Re: The 10 Commandments For Drinking Like A Man
Nothing wrong with a quality Margarita... on the rocks of course. No sour mix either.
You can get a buzz from shit too...and it costs practically nothing.
Thats funny but I do draw the line there. I like the part where they say the people who have tried the stuff says they dislike the sewage tast it leaves in your mouth for up to several days. |

I think its the sour mix that makes it a Margarita. I'm like you I like it on the rocks. |
Re: The 10 Commandments For Drinking Like A Man
You don't need sour mix in a good margarita.
All you need is good tequila, triple sec or Cointreau, and fresh lime juice |
Re: The 10 Commandments For Drinking Like A Man
True.
This is a fun topic to debate but in the end just drink up and have fun. But... keep in mind if you are drinking something frozen that comes with a straw, umbrella, and fruit, someone in the room is having a laugh at your expense. ;)
a few years back my brother and i were at a skins game at fed ex. the skins were playing the giants, anyhow, there were these two giants fans (a man and a woman) they were drinking wine. my brother and i (and every other skins fan in the area) joked and laughed at those two the entire game, all because they were drinking wine at a football game. maybe theres a time and a place for a man to drink wine (when he alone with his wife) |

Thus completes the ultimate argument for why wine is not manly. If you can't drink it at one of the manliest sporting events, then it's not manly. You also cannot drink wine at a George St. Pierre fight. |

I actually had wine at a Monday Night Raw performance. My buddy went to get beer and they were out and he didn't want to get in another line. I drank it. |
Re: The 10 Commandments For Drinking Like A Man
i gotta disagree. commandment #5 says appreciate all forms of beer. wine coolers are a form of wine.
what? there should be a commandment that says to know what the hell you're talking about! |
In most situations...yes. In a pool with a floating tiki bar on an island somewhere? No.
Yeah.. who the hell drinks whisk(e)y and coke poolside? |
