So what are all the Haynesworth haters going to do when he plays the whole game against Dallas?
I'm not a hater but I'm not thinking all this drama is going to suddenly go away either. |
Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
It's not going away, because at this point there can be no "winner". AH is to prideful to let the media think that MS "broke" him, and MS certainly is never going to come out and make nice. I really thought that the whole cigar joke gave a good point to re-start the situation (and I think it did) but there are media types, and apparently sources, who want to fan this all season long.
Last year AH played a large percentage of D snaps (i think the most but don't know the specific stat) and yet he gets hammered for not playing every snap. So what if he is not the starter, our nickel back isn't a starter but he sure is critical to winning these games. I only hope that AH, MS, and Haslett are being pros about this and Sunday night they all perform to the best of their abilities. I tend to think they will. |

well that's probably not going to happen. but all this crap will go away if al justs plays the defense, plays hard and makes some plays...which he should be able to do against a weak Dallas line. |
Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
Haynesworth doesn't know how to play in a 3-4? I know its more complicated than this, but can we just put him in at NT and tell him to push the Center back into Romo's face on every play? That would work for me. Oh, and throw your big arm out and closeline Felix Jones everytime he comes between the center and the guard. :)

I know that the story ust won't die or ever really be put to rest at this point. Guys have been writing articles on this whole saga since April. They will never let it die. As MS said most of the rumors in the Media are completely untrue. So maybe we can just move on as a football team and not let it be a distraction. Best way in my mind for that WIN! |

Chris Mortenson is reporting the the SKins have "HAD IT" with Big. AND that they are in negotiations with the Titans....NOW to trade him

The Redskins are going to come out losing in any trade at this point, so ur right. Also, the fact that our other d-lineman are not the best and we have a NT coming off a major injury last year, I don't think this is smart at this point. |
Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
So let's say AH is gone, any good NTs in free agency right now?

Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
Per CRedskinsRules sig (my own post), I reserve the right to retract any statements I have made concerning AH.
LOL... I was wrong this will never die. |
Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
For all you out there that think Fat Al will suit up on Sunday are out of your ever living mind. But I'll gladly come back here and eat some crow if he's even a Redskin by Thursday.

Best way in my mind for that WIN!
Yeah, it's mainly a media-created circus. There are internal disagreements but Shanahan is handling it. I didn't think AH played badly against the Cards. I saw him put Faneca on his back and had good push most plays...even made some tackles which don't come often for any interior lineman on D. He played almost EVERY defensive play...and survived. He won't play that many snaps in any regular season game. He's ready to play and contribute as far as I see. When he's NOT in, you notice. To the media, Albert Haynesworth is the new Hurricane Katrina. Everything must be overblown and over-repeated...and on days where there is not a juicy story...create one. |
