We have had only one season in the past 5 years that had any playoff implications whatsoever, and that happened to be the season Rak was on IR for 14 games. Slim' pickins bro, slim pickins.
Orakpo should of been traded 2yrs ago. His worth is marginally above R. Jackson. The skins could have saved a draft pick on the draft swap last year if Orakpo had been healthy and tradable.

No he's way better than Jackson, is he Dware? No but he's good for 10-12 sacks a season and that's pretty good. I just hope he can stay healthy

DHall cost us 2.25MM. Asomugha cost the 49ers 3MM. Not a penny guaranteed. What's wrong with this picture?

Asomugha sucks unless his is in a perfect scheme fit (Oakland) because if he's not (Philadelphia) he is exposed.

Nnamdi was great in Oakland, he played man coverage and was an all pro. That team sucked when he was there so that's not a good argument.

Asomugha is too soft. He was an embarassment last year!!!! Hall has courage, and that is the essential ingredient that Asomugha does not display. I would rather have a fighting Hall cussing every reciever out that scores on him than an Asomugha turtle slinking into his shell shrugging his shoulder as receivers run into the end zone.

Nothing, unless you assume that Nnamdi wanted to come here and we said no.

How is that a bad argument? He played in a man coverage defense, which he excels at. Just because the team was horrible doesn't mean he couldn't keep the ball away from his man. When he got to Philly and wasn't playing the man style defense anymore his play dropped off significantly. Philly has been bad as well in recent seasons. Seems like my argument is perfectly valid.

Fans always think its about the money with players. Nnamdi is a Cal guy, Bay area born and raised. SF is the only team in the area that he would be able to play for something and be home. 49ers don't necessarily need him and he wants to win. The team holds all the cards. Not to mention he will get 4 million from the Eagles this year regardless doesn't hurt.

OK I thought u were basically saying he was a bumb in Oakland also.. I saw online that winfield wants to play in Washington!!

skinsfaninok 04-03-2013 08:04 AM

The Washington Redskins remain interested in signing veteran cornerback Antoine Winfield despite bringing back DeAngelo Hall at a reduced salary, a person with knowledge of the situation said. Two others, however, questioned whether the salary cap-strapped Redskins had a realistic shot at landing Winfield.

"There is high mutual interest," said one person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to speak on behalf of the Redskins. "Re-signing Hall didn't change that."

The re-signing of Hall —who, after being released in March to save $8 million, on Monday agreed to a one-year deal that is believed to be worth just more than $2 million —didn't come as a surprise to Winfield and his camp. The person said that if anything, the move made Washington more attractive to Winfield, who is entering his 15th NFL season.

"At this point in his career, [Winfield] wants to win, and [Washington] has made moves to further solidify the roster, and re-signing Hall only helps. Their games complement each other," the source said.

The Redskins have Hall and Josh Wilson returning for a third straight season.
