All RG3 said was he is cleared, he didn't say anything about starting.

I understand Shanahan wanting to make that call though.

The only question I have for Wingo here is what doctors? The Redskins doctors and Andrews or the doctors ESPN consulted with that have not been part of III's rehab.

Only 9 more days of this till we get to put it to bed and watch the kid play. Keep the Eagles guessing. Throw out reports that the drs don't want him to run any of the read option packages... Then Monday night throw the kitchen sink at the eagles defense.

First, I think whatever concern it was, is taken totally out of context in that report. What does that even mean? They don't want him to run the read option? Well guess what, all three times he got hurt last year (vs Atl, vs Baltimore, vs Seattle originally) were all on drop back passing plays.

If he has any concern about the way he's being used, he's not ready. Period. If he can't go out there and do everything, then he shouldn't be playing. If he has been cleared, then I'm calling BS on this report.

Just put him out there and play the damn game. So tired of everyone talking. If RG3 gets hurt or has a setback then it is what it is. It's not the end of the damn world. Time to play and for everyone to shut up!

Huh? It's professional football. I know the NFL wants to put flags on the QB's but I guess the docs to too! lol.

I do agree with this. To say "there are concerns" opened it up to a whole weekend of speculation, and unneeded media/fan gnashing of keystrokes.

I agree with that... but I also don't think RG3 is 100% innocent in the whole thing either.

I really don't think there is a "rift" between those two...but they certainly suck at communicating with the media.

I agree on Griffin as well. Operation Patience ended about 20 minutes too soon.

Unless they are both sitting back now laughing at how all the media is jumping around in circles. Which I would love to be the case.
