Ok, I understand what you're saying, but we can't blame our inability to assemble players needed to win the SB on LA's contract. That blame would have to go to our FO. They're the ones going out getting the players.

Say what you want about LA.......just remember that he's not going anywhere.

I agree the blame goes to the FO, they got the team into this position by signing bad contracts and making bad deals.

I dont care if LA stays his entire career or goes tomorrow as long as the redskins win. Player come and players go but the team is forever and that's who I want to win.

Our inability to get players is hinged on many big contracts, LaVar's is one of the biggest. I think Samuels got a larger bonus but less overall -- something like that.

I hope what you say is true, and before you joined certain people weren't high on Arrington, PSUskins. It's not like this is a new thing. As I've said he's a good player -- but not fitting of the contract.

I'd trade Takeo Spikes for LaVar any day of the week!

Wonder if that's at all tied to the fact that he's been to three pro bowls? Nah, probably not. The FO was probably just feeling generous. Not like he's been one of our best players over the past 5 years or anything. F-ing guy is just stealing the money. The nerve.

Ahh, yes. Absolutely. Lavar is not only a detriment in and of himself, he's also the reason we didn't land the free agents that we wanted. Had nothing to do with the offer we made to Courtney being less attractive than the Broncos'. Noooo. Must have been Lavar's fault.

really i still think lavar is a "team player" and is one of the best on the team. It isn't his fault that our FO gives him a shit load of $. i just think he is in a whinny bitchy stage right now

LaVar loves the fans, loves the Redskins, want's to be a Skin for life. However everytime he has the slightest opportunity to bash the FO through the Media he does it. Seems to be rather unusual behavior from a man who thinks he's the leader of the Defence, and is always "talking" a good game.

I'm not going to vent on this guy anymore than he has been already, but from reading what he had to say in the press (Washington Post) he really dosen't give a dam what we (the fans) or anyone else thinks or says about him. My question to us all is; Is he worthy of all the attention either one way or the other?

Has anyone on here ever had a few weeks rehab? I don't mean drugs or alcohol, we're Skins fans so that's a given, but I'm talking about a protracted bed rest or similar?

I've had a couple of weeks after an appendectomy that I burst the stitches on and a broken jaw that was wired for 7 weeks. You get a little crazy.

He's a Pro athlete who lives for the game, he's just frustrated and WP is more than willing to stir it up.

I predict that by game 3 of 2005 everyone on this board will be ready to bear his children.
