I cannot believe that some of you feel bad for Haz. The guy is a joke of a coach. Fletcher is my hero right now.
There's a different between disagreeing on how Fletcher approached this and Haslett's performance as a coach. No one is defending Haslett. Everyone is criticizing how Fletcher carried himself in giving his criticism. Which is terrible, especially if he has any intentions of working in the media. Plus, kinda hard to get behind the guy that embodied the futility of this defense. That's like having Chester or Polumbus blasting the offensive coaches. |

If he was female and looked like Katy Perry, then OK. ;) |
Re: Fletcher slams Haslett
The way Fletcher responded is comparable to a girl you like who is known for screwing dudes over, screwing you over... and responding to the screwing by going over to her house and wrecking the place.
Then kicking her dog for good measure. ...Yeah she probably deserved it and it was a long time coming but it was definitely over kill. |
Re: Fletcher slams Haslett
I still don't get what the hubbub is all about?? Haslett has been a terrible coach for a long time, probably shouldn't be in the NFL. For a long time we've heard there was too much behind the scenes drama at Redskins Park, and it didn't end with Shanahan leaving. Fletcher is saying Haslett is part of the problem, something he couldn't say when he was a player for obvious reasons.
I'm not saying anyone should thank Fletcher for speaking out the way he did, but for God sakes shouldn't Haslett be under the microscope? |

Someone can criticize Haslett without being a jerk about it. or 2) Rotten, are you completely stupid? The point about the tone of Fletch's remarks has been made again and again in this thread but your pea-sized brain still doesn't get it. I've seen carpets with more brains than you! See the difference? BTW response 2 was for demonstration only, I do not in fact think that you are dumber than a carpet nor am I trying to insult you. |

I'm not worried about their sensitivity, feelings etc. lol and I don't think anyone should. Are you really bent out of shape because Fletcher was a "jerk" lol? Seriously? |
Re: Fletcher slams Haslett
If someone needs to explain to you why Fletcher is an asshole, you're probably an asshole too.

I thought that we all have a moral responsibility to care about the feelings of all other humans, including those in the NFL. Instead you inform me that it is perfectly acceptable to treat NFL people as punching bags without having to be "worried about their sensitivity, feelings etc." My bad for thinking that considerateness toward others is important. |

You're missing the point. Fletcher being an asshole isn't a story, at all. There's a bigger picture (team culture and how Haslett is involved as a bad coach), meanwhile a bunch of folks are standing around pointing at the description next to the frame. Look at the fucking picture folks lol |

Re: Fletcher slams Haslett
Sorry I'm not sorry ;)
Really not trying to pick at any of you. Just saying I don't care as much about the messenger as the message itself. No offense intended to anyone's feelings. Scratch that, Haslett can screw off. His feelings don't matter. Lol |

Especially when the guy saying it was once known as one of the "classiest" players in the NFL. |
Re: Fletcher slams Haslett
If one refuses to speak up productively about the dysfunction of their job at the time, they shouldn't be a d-bag about it after the fact.

Re: Fletcher slams Haslett
Wow, we're blaming London for pointing out the obvious instead of celebrating him for pointing the finger where it belongs.
...be nice London, be nice to Jim! It's OK to call zero blitz on 2nd and 20 now and then. |
