Vic Fangio will meet with the Chicago Bears first, then he will come to Washington DC to interview for defensive coordinator.

I hope Fangio makes it to DC before he decides on his next DC job. John Fox and crew may not let him leave the building without signing a contract.

The thought process is probably that an offer in hand from another team will make the Skins drop some cash.

Chicago and Fox also like Dennis Allen as a possible DC.

John Keim and Dianna Russini have not said anything yet and those 2 are the ones that seem to be more in the know then the other insiders. Unless we hear from Keim or Russini no one really knows what is going on with Fangio.

Man. I thought butt hat was a nickname for LaCanforra and I REALLY liked it. Then I realized it was a typo, misplaced space, and I was sad.

True, although I think JLC was among the first insiders to start beating the Fangio drum and has since been one of the most vocal. He's pretty well dialed in to this one IMO.
