Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants
I hope so but I also hope the team isn't getting as cocky as some of us are..
All I have seen is a hard working "Team" with little attitude, but much determination.... You see it differently? To tell you the truth, I haven't really noticed any fans getting cocky either. |
Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants
There is talk of Coughlin resigning during the season or possibly even being fired, i say it is completely within the realm of possibility that we go there and clean house. The Giants are in dissaray right now and that might be all that we need to get the win.
Nope , never happen. With that said you guys should win just by keeping the ball from Eli .Whatever Offense they have is Eli and Odell and there is no defense to speak of ,it's not Coughlin it's Jerry Reese,no LBer's or pass rushers or safety's! |
Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants
I think "MoJo"(Morris and Jones) will have a good game. I'm not sure if we are a team with killer instinct yet. Hopefully we are.

No safetys you say? Hey, eli almost done .... We will give you Rg for Landon straight up.... Thanks. |
Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants
where? i haven't seen it. teams don't just fire coaches midseason unless it's really dire. it basically guarantees a top 5 draft pick.
I have no idea where he gets his info but rest assured it's usually way off base. |
Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants
It's a trap game, for sure. Giants usually play us well, and we have underperformed in primetime recently (which is why we have very few primetime games now).
However, the past two games were pretty consistent for us. Good D, Good run game, O+Dlines playing well, and a QB managing the game. The Giants currently are ranked #31 in defense and we're -- #1. If we just play like we've been playing, and get some good QB play -- we may be more competitive in years past. Will be fun to watch, first time I can say that in a while..
To be fair we have under-performed in every game. This feels like a new team and Thursday will either prove that or disprove it. We have a real chance to put our foot on the throat of a team that has had our number for years and take control of this division and announce to the NFL that we have arrived and while we are not winning the SuperBowl we are not the easy check mark on your schedule anymore. |
Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants
By splitting carries with Mo/Jo keeps them much fresher for the short turn around vs the Giants.
Hey look at this: 2015 NFL Team Total Stats - National Football League - ESPN Boom BITCH! 13.5 pts per game? |

Consulting at Penn State - no wonder Temple finally beat them. |
We were ranked number 1 last year after beating the jags. 1-1 was our record. Now this feels different though...
after two weeks last year we had also played two horrible teams, this year we played two teams expected to make the playoffs. |

yup...plus the addition of Pot Roast, Paea, and a healthy Hatcher. Goldson at Free Safety has been a win so far as well....a little unsung imo. Culliver at CB will help against Odell this weekend. |
Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants
Its actually 10 pts. per game that the D gave up. 7 pts. in the Miami game was from ST.

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants
Another thing that's been key: not missing assignments. We've had a breakdown here and there, but it seems this year that people are where they're supposed to be.

Re: Week 3: Redskins v Giants
Another key addition has been Perry Fewell, he's a like having a second DC out there, plus he's very familiar with the Giants.
