Re: Redskins 1st Round Pick: WR Josh Doctson (TCU)
Ross v. Grant will be a battle in camp this year - and it may be that the loser is fighting the rest of the roster to keep six WR's instead of five.
DJax, Garcon, Crowder, Doctson, Ross/Grant. On the roster, only Ross provides the speed that DJax provides. |
Re: Redskins 1st Round Pick: WR Josh Doctson (TCU)
Both Ross and Roberts play teams. Grant does not. Grant isn't a good enough wr to JUST be a back up and not play teams. Seems like Grant has been here for a while and can never seems to take that next step. He seems like the one that will be gone.
Garçon fits the McCloughan mold much more than Jackson. Once Jackson starts to lose a step, which could happen very soon, there goes his game.
What about Garcon's lack of production? |
Re: Redskins 1st Round Pick: WR Josh Doctson (TCU)
I cant wait to see Doctson line up in red zone packages, get one on one matchups and out jump fools for Corner fades routes
Its so funny with D Jax. Ive never seen a guy go from hero to zero and back so frequently. Lol. Im totally guilty of it myself.
And I think this is exactly how the coaches feel about him. It's love and hate. He does just enough to justify keeping him and then pisses you the fuck off 5 minutes later. Personally I'll be glad when we can afford to move on from him but right now we need him. lol. |

Why would we pay Roberts 4 million just to play teams? |

72 catches and 6 TDs as the #2 receiving option is bad production? |

Of course it is. We're paying him to be a number 1! If he's paid to be the top guy he should produce like the top guy. Even if he isn't. All of them are being paid. They should all produce like the top guy. 100/1500/10 for everyone! |

I thought Garcon had a big bounce back season...completely impressed last year. I will never forget the game winning catch against the Eagles: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/dc-sports-bog/wp/2015/10/04/watch-pierre-garcons-gutsy-game-winning-touchdown-catch/ Garcon is still a bad ass. What about Crowder, 58 catches as a rookie? Folks Im feeling good about receiver. |

who would have thought 2 years ago that we would have a potentially great passing attack, NO Saints like IMO.

He had 72 catches but didn't come close to cracking 1000 yards. That is what I call mediocrity. Her had a few alright games here and there but most of the season he was a average wr who struggled to get separation. |
