Read this, OL future lineup. That's exactly why I want long at C and Kouandijo at LG. The future is now!!!
Revamped Washington Redskins offensive line ready for action - Washington Redskins Blog- ESPN
I think this is ideally what the Skins coaches had in mind coming into this year...Im interested to see if Kujo and Long sticks. I don't know much about Sullivan but from what Ive read he could be better than Long at Center. Im concerned with Kujo...we should be able to tell in the first half if this is a disaster...if so, his ass should go to the bench and kick Silverback inside and Nsekhe out at LT. |
Re: Brown Frown Pregame Thread
always good to have options on the line, we'll be fine.

How about Trent Murphy leading us with 3 sacks??

at least 1 ff, he's looking good. how often do we have him, kerrigan, and smith on the field at the same time? |

He got all of 1 snap last year- that didn't scream starter this year to me. I'm also not sold on Long at C yet, simply because he hasn't played it long enough and he wasn't exactly tearing it up at LG last year. But, all that said, when you think what it takes to show improvement on the o-line..... Long cannot be any worse than Licht As you said, if Kujo struggles, we could go to plan B (TW at LG & Ty at LT) The other obvious improvement that can prolong drives is to limit the penalties the o-line has been getting. That alone could be a huge step forward. |

What does PFF say about Preston? Cooley at least for the NY game gave him a very positive grade |

I feel like Kerrigan might be the most overrated Redskin of all time. |

I really hate it but was thinking the same thing. He gets held but a lot but so does every other pass rusher. He has to make plays anyway. |

He gets held but a lot but so does every other pass rusher. He has to make plays anyway.
Right every single pass rusher gets held. The good ones either still get after the qb, or they are spinning and swimming fighting and it is just obvious to the refs that there is a hold. He must be the best teammate and a coaches wet dream though. He is solid, but just completely unspectacular. I think he is due for one of his batted ball pick sixes. Lol. Its his best move but only happens once in a blue moon. |
Re: Brown Frown Pregame Thread
Doctson was a pick for the future, I would almost say put him on the IR for 8 weeks and bring up on of the PS guys. I don't want tendonitis to lead to something much worse if he isn't ready. I still like the guys we picked and look forward to getting to see them play more in the future. Still think Fuller will be a good one.

I think he has the potential to be great... but not the killer instinct inside. We need more people like Baker and Norman on this D. Player that play with fire inside them, people that bring anger to the game. Baker isn't a great player but he plays angry, I like that! Barry might not be coaching hunger nor anger to these guys either... |
