Re: Final Roster
This is pretty amazing to see how many people could easily assume about someone, especially without gathering information. As we all have learned from NFL players and research since last few years, concussions in NFL can get bad fast and even life-changing experience in worst way. We all have to respect players' opinions/thoughts and their focus on their well-being than football itself. After all, they will be the one who is living with consequences of their decisions. What they, including Cravens, will do barely impact us if at all except for our irrational emotions. Yes, Cravens could have make this kind of decision earlier, enough to give Redskins some time to find a replacement but then, Cravens could have learned something significant recently. Without knowing full information, we must remain open.
For you to bash Cravens for making that decision, shows the world what is wrong with humans nowadays. We are always so quick to jump to conclusions and assume the worst, and even wish the worst on someone just because s/he made a decision that s/he felt is right for himself.
Good post...extremely frustrating this decision was made this weekend. pretty damn selfish and irresponsible way to do it, which is on him. I hope he does get better if this is injury related. Has this been confirmed this is injury related? Per Keim how he told his db group text: Cravens informed the other defensive backs in a group chat Saturday night that he was going to retire and then exited the session by saying "Peace out," a source said. They were upset with him and what they heard. Peace out heh? Sounds like a professional |
Re: Final Roster
Nobody really bashed Sua in here though. Just said it sucks if it was true, he left. The comment section about this on ESPN, well that is another story.

Yes, yes, what you say might be true as long as the terms "fuckin little bitch", "fake motherfucker", and "typical millennial cunt" are no longer considered to be insults. I don't know. I'm old. Times change. They could be fine now. |

I went through all of the post and did not see any bashing. |
Re: Final Roster
A few in here have condemned him. You should see his twitter. Fans can be a bunch of assholes. Let him be, if he wants to walk so be it, if he wants to stay and play great. He's a grown man. Who here can tell another man what to do with that mans life? It doesn't work that way. I wish him all the best whatever he decides in the next month.
If he retires and doctson doesn't stay healthy last years draft is a big fat F. Unless Fuller and Big Matt work out. They are really the only ones left correct? |
Re: Final Roster
Think about this. They finished the 53 man cut and he announces he is going to retire after the final cut. Way didn't he tell them earlier in the day? People lost their jobs and the ability to put food on the table for their family. He cost someone money by waiting until after the deadline. He follows that gem up with a txt message to his teammates and says "Peace Out". That is bush league. If he does not want to play football, let him walk, recover his bonus and give it to somebody that wants to play.

Really? |
Re: Final Roster
Cravens sounds like an emotionally immature punk. Does he know how many guys would love to be in his shoes? And all you have to say is "peace out?" We heard rumblings last year of him kind of acting aloof about an injury. Fuck that, he obviously isn't serious about wanting to play football. Everett may or may not be good but that son of a bitch loves to compete and will knock the shit out of someone. Cravens apparently would rather play ping pong.

Re: Final Roster
Cravens cousin is Jordan Cameron who was a stud TE during his brief career and
Retired due to concussions. Maybe this influenced his decision? |
