Re: Cards postgame
time to see what Allen can do
|
Re: Cards postgame
No it's definitely not time for Kyle Allen
|
Re: Cards postgame
No not yet, lest see how DH does against the Browns. They have Miles Garrett but the rest is just bleh

Re: Cards postgame
Haskins get all of this year.
Come on yall. Thats the whole point of this year. Not ideally fair to Haskins with this O line and new coaching staff but this is his prove it year. |
Re: Cards postgame
Put in Allen and you're essentially throwing in the towel on Haskins. Way too early for that. Give Dwayne the season and evaluate after that. This was a rebuilding year anyway.

Re: Cards postgame
Defensive grades so far.
KPL = 84 (He's really good) Chase = 81 Fabian = 75 Offensive grades Terry = 76 Moses = 68 Gibson = 64 Haskins has a 47.8 Passing grade |
Thats a crazy split
Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
Basically when he has to sit back there and think, he isn't very effective. He's much better on quick game, problem is this isn't college football and you can't do that every play |
Re: Cards postgame
Makes sense that he's better on the quick stuff, essentially one read throws.

Re: Cards postgame
Secondary was sitting in soft cover a lot. A good bit of completions in front of them, which I guess was the design and intention. I thought the secondary did a good job of coming up and making tackles though.
Apke - boy ... hes processing way to slow. On that long ball to Isbealla, he watches the WR running full speed at him but doesnt read or recognize or react .. just stands there flat footed and doesnt turn his hips to run with him until isbaella is past him. Lucky it was an underthrown ball. We knew he was a project when we drafted him, banking on his speed and hopes of being coachable ... but I question his feel for the game. hes another guy that seems to be destined to be special teams and a no. 2 backup. edit -- https://twitter.com/MarkBullockNFL/status/1307785886042664964?s=20 heres the Apke play. Bullock points out it looks like Apke was caught reading a crossing route in front of him .. at least that is some kind of explanation. |
Re: Cards postgame
Terry vs Peterson yesterday.
4 targets 3 Catches 51 yards 1 TD Terry is a monster |
Re: Cards postgame
Need to get the ball in Terry's hands as much as possible.

I'm ready . . . he is not an NFL caliber QB IMO. He even missed his layups and is worse when you give him time to throw . . . Its time! Only reason to keep him in is to ensure a higher draft pick. |
