Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
So are the Skins this much better because Portis is back or because the Texans suck donkey balls?
Because Portis is back. Because the gameplan is better. Although the Texans suck, we'd be beating anyone right now.

Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
This week is alot more fun!
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
No no people It aint just because the Texans suck...........Look at brunells numbers....The Offense has just started working for him I think...

Yep its a combination of both. If we played like this vs Dallas, it'd still be a very close game, but we'd be throwing bows. |
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Time to pass has a lot to do with it as well. Ask yourself, Has there been any QB hurries? Brunell has had time to throw.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
The minute that Brunell throws an incompletion, bring in Campbell.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
way to go Rook!
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
21!
The rook gets the ball! |
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Fumble!
|

Is Jason the #2 or Collins? |
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Of all the plays today, that was my favorite. Stripped by the 5th round pick, recoverd by the 6th rounder.

F**K THAT.."Trigger" BRUNELLS ON FIRE TODAY |
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
I'm eating crow this week. Texans or not, Brunell looks good. You can't take anything away from him. Twenty completions is great no matter who you're playing.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
He got it, he broke the record!
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
The Record Has Fallen!! Congrats #8 Mark Brunell!!
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
It's over, new consecutive completions streak at 22.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Sonny just asked who is the offensive MVP today. Brunell or Portis
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
co-MVPS.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Saunders.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Not a bad way to redeem yourself, with a NFL record. That's doing it in style.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
I missed the record completion. I was at the freakin' keyboard talking to Warpathers....what happened??
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
well sorry Cambell and collins...NO PT for u anytime soon!...NOW DEFENSE STOP SOMEBODY COLD I NEED THE 8 POINTS UR EXPECTED TO PICK UP FOR FANTASY BALL!
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
If the offensive line can just cut down on the penalties they're on their way to turning things around.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Hall from 46
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
All cylinders this week.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
GO MARK GO !!! How much did our offense really miss Portis? And HALL makes a field goal for 46 yards, wow we really are firing on all cylinders today. Golston looks good in there. He is playing better than Salvea.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
What a pleasant suprise Golston has been. Nice pickup.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
I wish we could play the Texans every week. Through three weeks (McNabb, P Manning and Brunell) they have allowed QBs to complete 72 of 97.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Yeah, plenty of teams have played the Texans (who are consistently bad) and Brunell is having a stellar day regardless of how bad the Texans are. Peyton Manning never got 22 in a row against Houston...
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Now you guys have to be LOUD next week against Jax. Not going to be there so it is up to YOU!! 164 total yards for Portis 2 TD...
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Is it a coincidence that Andre Carter gets injured and we start getting pressure on Carr?
Is he still in there? |
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
I missed the record completion. I was at the freakin' keyboard talking to Warpathers....what happened??
Santana Moss, 6 yard completion.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
C'mon D...let's not let them rack up any cheap points...
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Jax is playing tough on Indy today. I love the 4:15 games, but this jinky triple X radio signal is killing me.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Normally, I'd stop caring by now since the game is out of reach, but we need to finish strong.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
i don't think this game is out of reach, not with the way our pass defense is...
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Oh c'mon Rogers...get it together. I hate pounding a team like this and then they come back and rack up cheap points like this.
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
How about another 9 min Drive?
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
Rogers never plays the ball, that's his big problem right now
|
Re: 9/24/06: Redskins (0-2) at Texans (0-2)
That was a charity 2Pt conv......
