Oh yes, it's over! Now it's a "wait & see" as to how much Daniel Snyder will inflate the price of next years season tickets. (I have vibes the uniforms will be changing too. "Snyder Baby" will be going full-throttle with a new line of NFL/Redskins apparel for fans to buy!)

I remember when we lost at Washington, I was feeling pretty bad that night, accepted the tough lost. But know...5 games later we are in a totally different position.

Boys to playoffs!
Skins to a higher draft pick!
Priceless!

See ya next year Skins!
Have a good off-season.

We haven't been officially eliminated, so officially the season is not officially over and this thread isn't official yet either.

The key is what are we going do with the season. "We" being the team. Are they going to just go through the motions and finish these next few games so they can hit the golf course in January. Or will they work hard on mastering the playbook, will Campbell get more comfortable out there, get a rhythym with his receivers? Will youngs guys like Golston and Rocky earn their place? Will we waste these next few games because 2006 is done? Or will we use it to become a strong team in 2007?

Now that we have got to this point, does anyone think we will see a different Redskins team next week. Will they play McIntosh, or will they stick with Holdman?

Re: The Season Is Over

I'm assuming that what Gibbs said in his speech still applies. I think they had better do more than "go through the motions" if they want to stay on the team. So the players had better put forth the effort, and I assume that the coaching staff is serious about setting the team up well for next year.
