I am a Steeler fan first, and a Redskin fan second. Don't worry, that means I hate the crygirls more than most.

When I met my wife, she was a Cowboy fan. Not because she followed football, but because she thought Troy Aikman was cute.

Once we had our son, she converted over to the black and gold. She said she didn't want to be outnumbered. Of course, once she met Jay Novacek, I am willing to bet I could lose her over to the dark side again.

I do have to admit, Novacek is one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. He is also a big Monte Coleman fan. Said the guy played clean and played great.

We got on the subject of Norv Turner and I had to bite my words when I remembered he knows him from a completely different angle than I do as a Redskins fan (yes, I do like them).

That depends - where's your job? If it is in Waldorf, probably not. Chris lived in that general region before he retired though.

I deleted the PM, and I flat out don't remember who we talked about - please pm me with that name - I am curious now.

The Redskins are Roy Jefferson, Mike Bragg and Ted Vactor. The Steelers are Willie Williams, Mike Collier and Reggie Harrison. I set up the timing so that Steeler fans can come to Hooters to watch the game, and Redskins fans can come meet these guys and have plenty of time to make it to Landover and tailgate.

FYI - the bikini calendars will be in my hands in mid August, so I will be giving them out for free with a purchase of an autograph ticket.

I have talked to Sarah who is on the cover. If she is available with her school schedule, she will be there to sign copies too.

I would actually recommend against that ball. Gold paint pen on footballs turns brown over time and makes it tough to see the sig and almost worthless.

I haven't seen it on helmets, but I am more of a fan of using silver (both on Skins and Steelers). I think the silver "pops" more.

I was recently with Chris Hanburger when he did an appearance at Great Moments in Frederick and they used a white paint pen on the spear helmet. I have never had luck using it before, but it turned out great.
