Saunders was calling the plays last game, and I loved em. Players couldn't execute, but today it seems that players are executing but aren't getting enough opportunities.
And, he's still calling the plays this game as well. He didn't just decide to quit calling plays. And you're forgetting, executing the plays isn't just about the qb, receivers, and running backs. It's also the offensive line. That is our problem today. |

I'd settle for a first down or two... |

LOL...no kidding. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
C'mon!!!! They've Got 9 In The Box, Throw The F-ing Ball!!!
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
OK...I've tried to be patient with the playcalling, but this is getting bad.
|

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
The Boobirds are out full force at FedEx
I've never heard so much booing like I have today. |

Thank you. You guys understnad the message we are sending to the offense? It is saying we don't trust you and we trust our D more than you. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
now not only is suisham sucking but frost is starting to suck too,he got lucky on the punt before last with a good bounce
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I think this site should prepare themselves for a lot of "poor playcalling" posts. We yet again, are playing conservative and are not trying to move the ball. I still think it will work because our D is stout, but this is no way to win on a consistant level.
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Great another week of moronic posts, I can't wait.
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
yea play calling on offense is poor, we cant run effectivly and our passing game is dismal.
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
We may have the worst 2nd half offense in the league.
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Frost is averaging 31 yds a punt, including the one that bounced about 20 yards.
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I think this was a trap game, with NE next week. I just don't think we're quite as good as the first few weeks made us believe. Our defense is killer but it's just not there yet on offense.

Well people keep using the offensive line as an excuse, which I think is pretty inexcusable. Do you think JC being injured have anything to do with it? Said he got a bruised wrist on his throwing hand from the GB game. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I am so pissed right now.
This is frustrating. I understand the injuries, but there are other plays that can be run beside, quick ins, runs, screens. We can't always expect our D to bail us out in games. Ex. Packers game. |

Yup...I might be absent this week. :D It's obviously true though...tens of thousands of fans are booing, and several on here have already mentioned it. Maybe it's actually true. |

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
could be a very small problem but i just think the play calling is bad.... for our passing game, the o-line is a run problem
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
The cardinals d does look pretty good, though. I think alot of times we assume that we're not calling the right plays or whatever if we're not moving the ball. Sometimes the other side is just really playing well. Gotta give them credit.

Why are posts questioning the playcalling 'moronic'? Can you say that the playcalling hasn't been very conservative this half? |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Preilou (sp?) has been playing great this year as nickle
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
now hopefully we can get past a 3 n out here... maybe move down the field seal the game with a FG? ... or do u think coach joe will be conservative for no good reason...
|

You must've missed that blind side sack on Campbell when Wade let the man go clean past him. So, our o-line problems are not exclusive to the run. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
I think they did scale back the gameplan because of the off line, but i wish they would try some stuff like the direct snap to portis,or let ARE throw the ball, something to keep the def off balance
|

It's obviously true though...tens of thousands of fans are booing, and several on here have already mentioned it. Maybe it's actually true.
I think the fans are getting tired of being turned on and off. They see games like against the Lions and the Eagles and they get excited and go, "Damn, this team may really have their act together this year". Then they go to games and see things like this and start losing faith and getting pissed. Skins have a serious problem with consistency and the fans at FedEx know it. |

I agree with you about the Giants and Packers game, but this game is completely different. The Giants game we did through quite a bit, and Packers game just had terrible execution. Yes Oline is banged up but that is no excuse for not even trying hard to score. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Why are posts questioning the playcalling 'moronic'? Can you say that the playcalling hasn't been very conservative this half?
It all starts up front. When you can't run the ball it makes it tough to do anything, and when you're missing 3 starters along the offensive line it's bound to limit what you can do. But let's just take the easy route and blame the play calling. |

If it was Wade's man that got the sack it coulnd't have been blind sided. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
Why is that inexcusable?
Not so much inexcusable as a crutch. As soon as things go sour, "Oh, it's the injuries". Good teams play injured, sick, headless, whatever. Like I said, how to teams like the Pats, Jacksonville, Indy, get things done with or without injuries and the Skins can't? |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
damn,the shotgun,what a novel concept!
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
They take a shot and the WR drops it, play calling issue??
|
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
2nd half drives:
1st drive, 2 runs, 1 pass. 2nd drive, 8 runs, 2 passes. 3rd drive, 1 run, 2 passes. 4th drive, 2 runs, 1 pass. Current drive 1 run, 1 pass. That's 14 runs to 7 passes. Just an FYI. |

The point is, Wade let him go cleanly. |
Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread
fuck if your going to run stay in fucking bounds you bunch of fucking idiots!!!!
|
