hey this is what i fiugre, if we won all the preseason games there would be too much pressure at the start of the regular season. we got the loss out of the way, so now we can roll in the regular season.

Well heres my assessment from what I can gather from others, my listening and statistics....

Our first team Defesne is leaps and bounds better than last year. They are still not perfect, but they still havent given up a TD and seem to be overally solid.

Sean Taylor had another good night, not as spectacular as Monday, but still a forced fumble and in on alot of plays.

I still dont read to much into our running game, cause all Portis has run is Counter Tre about 5 tiems and hes done for the day. However until Rock and Sultan broke off a couple runs apeice in the 4th , our running game was pretty bad.

I, for the second straight game am still dissapointed in the QB play. I dont know what it is, but these guys just dont seem like they are on the same page right now.

Jesus I'm falling asleep at my computer right now waiting for the press conference, I might just go to bed and replay it tommarow.

qb play has sucked, back up running backs havent been consistent. Defense, no matter what string, is pumped and getting pressure, very aggressive.

Coles seemed to have done well from what I could tell, thats always good to hear. Havnet heard to much about Gardner in the preseason.

Bottom line, on offense we arent makign first downs, so we arent getting good looks at a lot of peopel becuase we arent on the field much. Its good to knwo our d is doing well, but our offense needs work.

I saw Gardner drop one early - there were several more incompletes to him, don't know if they were bad throws, good D, or drops. Still expect him to eventually move down to #4. Thrash is looking good, and could well replace him. McCants should be #3 one way or the other - very good 3rd down receiver.

Jacobs impressed in camp a few months ago, but I havent seen much form him in the games. He dropepd that one ball where he had the illegal hit, not to impressive otherwise. McCants has looked good. Havent seen thrash that much. We'll see in the next few weeks what happens.

for those of u who didn't get to see it, brunnel's td pass to mccants was a perfect pass that hit mccants hands while he was in stride.

I know this doesn't really relate to the game, but does anyone else think Rod Gardner looks like a genie or Mr. Clean with his hoop earrings? lol
