Yeah... that what I'm thinking as well - Defense plays great except on third down plays. Offense always seem to play too cautious, afraid of making mistakes rather than taking it to the defense.

I'd hope that we were more testing the qb, wr's, and play calls more so than that being an actual plan for the drive

Daniels needs some reps to be evaluated and to be honest he needs to be looked at badly. JC isn't looking too good thus far. I know it is preseason and you don't play your starters for long, but our QB situation doesn't look pretty. Chase came from a Big 12 school, and because of him Missouri found themselves in the Big 12 title hunt, but was unlucky to have OKlahoma, Texas, and Tex Tech in his conference. Colt put up ridiculous numbers against lame ass opponents. When the Univ of Washington is your toughest regular season opponent, you really aren't going against prime time competition.

True; I do like that our backups and potentials are actually making throws that can change the game/position even if it's a little tight.

Are you implying that it's a play call differentiation? I really haven't been able to watch it that closely. Just seems like our other QBs don't mind trying to let the receiver make the play.
